“The pharmacy industry (as well as health care as a whole) has been widely affected the past few years due to medication shortages, staffing shortages, etc. Despite this, this location is always on top of things. They are always well staffed and friendly. My prescriptions are filled when I need them and typically little to no wait. When there is a line, it moves rather quick. Having to pick up a prescription isn’t a painful experience for me here like it has been at other pharmacies. Kudos to the pharmacy staff at 1010 E Ireland Rd South Bend!”

“They have gone out of their way to find things in the aisle or order things for me. I don’t do online, don’t see that well with a smaller phone which I carry with me everywhere. They also try to save me money by scanning a bar code if my script is pricey and it saves me quite a bit of cash. Have always been pleased and they have a drive up outside for pickup.”

They don't seem to be too interested in conversation but that is fine. they are pretty respectful and called me to fill me in prior to filling a prescription I was going to have to pay for out of pocket.I totally appreciate them. “What a difference a year makes. I'm not sure if their has been changes made within the store or within leadership but my experience has been excellent since I first reviewed this store. Melissa (sorry a I didn't get her last name) is always pleasant and extremely helpful in person or on the phone. I've stood in line and know first hand customers can be very rude. Another associate , last name Rieth is also always pleasant. Establishment's like this need to keep store shelves filled, medications on hand, cleaned and maintained, even when short staffed without the benefit of cutting back on products or hours to ease the work load. For that reason alone, and many others, people need to cut them some slack and offer some gratitude.”

“For years, Azzedine Benchaar has been the reason I continue using the CVS Pharmacy at 2210 E. Edison Rd. I have been coming to this location since before COVID, and I can honestly say he is the best pharmacist I have ever encountered.
I have filled my prescriptions at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart Pharmacy, Martin's Pharmacy, and other pharmacies throughout South Bend, Mishawaka, and Granger. Without question, Azzedine stands above them all.
He is always smiling, kind, patient, professional, and incredibly efficient. No matter how busy the pharmacy is, he treats every customer with dignity and respect, works with an amazing sense of urgency, and somehow makes everyone feel welcome and valued. He is just as respectful and encouraging with his coworkers. You can tell he genuinely enjoys helping people, and that isn't something you see very often anymore.
Technical knowledge, policies, procedures, and the mechanics of filling prescriptions can all be taught. What cannot be taught is genuine character, integrity, compassion, humility, a positive attitude, an exceptional work ethic, and a sincere desire to help people. Azzedine has those qualities naturally, and they are evident in every interaction. He doesn't just do his job well—he elevates the entire experience for everyone around him. He has something that is incredibly rare, and it's immediately obvious to anyone who interacts with him.
Yesterday, on 7/16/26 before 5PM, I visited when Azzedine was not working, and the difference was impossible to ignore. There were only two customers ahead of me, and the drive-thru was not backed up, yet after waiting nearly 30 minutes, both I and the customer behind me left without our prescriptions. We both commented that we would only come back when Azzedine was working because we knew the experience would be completely different. While customers continued waiting, I observed pharmacy staff laughing, chatting, and socializing, and there did not appear to be the same sense of urgency to keep the pharmacy moving efficiently. It caused a long line of people to continue waiting, unnecessarily.
That experience reinforced what I have known for years: Azzedine is the only reason I continue choosing this particular CVS. I sincerely hope CVS recognizes what an extraordinary employee they have. Employees with his character, professionalism, integrity, compassion, work ethic, and genuine care for people are exceptionally rare, and they are the kind of people who earn a customer's trust and loyalty for years.”

Memorial Team Pharmacy is a hidden gem! The staff here are incredibly friendly and caring, offering a level of service you just don’t find at other pharmacies. They treat everyone with equal respect and genuinely care about ensuring you get your medications, even the very expensive name-brand ones.
I was amazed when they helped me get a manufacturer coupon for a medication that cost hundreds. At CVS, I was spending so much without knowing about these options. loss and then I saw the CVS sign....walked in the front and there on a kiosk right up front on sale no less was exactly what I needed !!!

“I’m actually really shocked that they have a 2.9 rating. I just had the best service at the pharmacy. There was a bunch of miscommunication and a messed up with My prescription. These two ladies, Man, I wish I remembered their names, But they were absolutely amazing and so helpful and so kind, and the lady who checked me out was also very very nice! This is my first time getting a prescription here and It was a wonderful experience. You 3 ladies were phenomenal. They work very well under pressure, I noticed. Very grateful for the service that I received!!!!!”

“Have been working with Meijer Pharmacy, Portage Rd., South Bend, IN. I have had a great customer service experience. Prescriptions were sent in from urgent care. I contacted the pharmacy to see if meds were ready. Turns out they only had the antibiotic on hand and the other med would not arrive until 4:00 PM the next day. Today, I called about the med at is ready at the expected time. I made 3 phone calls to the pharmacy and was treated kindly during every call. I know pharmacies are very chaotic places to work at times. I am sure that is true for this pharmacy given all the viruses, flu that are going on in our area. I am very impressed that every person I spoke with provided excellent customer service. The notification system doesn't seem to be working for me even after the tech. reset it yesterday. That is very minor in the scheme of things.”
