“Curb side pick up was amazing. My order was filled quickly. Instructions to pick up were easy to follow and the actual pick up was flawless. My daughter has food poisoning and I wanted to get the items to relieve her discomfort quickly. The order was filled before I could even get my shoes on. Once I got to walgreens to pick up my order I barely waited 3 minutes when it was brought to my car by a very kind person. All around an amazing experience that I would recommend.”
“This location is one of the best Walgreens I’ve been to. It is open 24hrs, which is a rarity in the post-Covid era. As a night owl, I find the hours extremely helpful. The store is always clean, and the employees make it stand out. In particular, Islam, the overnight pharmacist, is an exceptional pharmacist who is always kind, and is particularly helpful and knowledgeable.”
“These people go above and beyond and do their best to meet the preferences and needs of the people they serve. I had left a negative review in the past but what I’ve seen since has been incongruent with my assumptions and opinions so I’m correcting my review.I don’t look for a person or business perfectly free of mistakes or errors, I look for those who perfectly endeavor to correct what they can and who do what they can to avoid repeating a mistake or a problem. A business or person who lets their behavior demonstrate their approach, without asking for corrections or review updates seems to be the kind of business this is.I can and do recommend them.”

“I’m embarrassed using my real name.My daughter has been sick and we used Teladoc however our insurance doesn’t cover scripts from out of network doctors. I didn’t know that till I got there and the total was 250 and some odd dollars.I left in tears. I used a goodRX and still was a little too much but planned on using 4 different payment methods.I’m not sure who she is but she works for your company she covered my script for my child.I’ll never forget that. I cried right there and cried all the way to my car and home.Thank you, thank you so much.You didn’t have to do that for me but you did and I’ll never forget it.Thank you everyone at this location for being kind while I rummaged through my bag for changes and cards.”
“My doctor and his staff are all calm and kind people. They answer the phone faster than they used to, also. Recently, I had to go to the Eddy Street Clinic for a test, and I found the same attitude there: calm and kind.”

“What a difference a year makes. I'm not sure if their has been changes made within the store or within leadership but my experience has been excellent since I first reviewed this store. Melissa (sorry a I didn't get her last name) is always pleasant and extremely helpful in person or on the phone. I've stood in line and know first hand customers can be very rude. Another associate , last name Rieth is also always pleasant. Establishment's like this need to keep store shelves filled, medications on hand, cleaned and maintained, even when short staffed without the benefit of cutting back on products or hours to ease the work load. For that reason alone, and many others, people need to cut them some slack and offer some gratitude.”

They don't seem to be too interested in conversation but that is fine. they are pretty respectful and called me to fill me in prior to filling a prescription I was going to have to pay for out of pocket.I totally appreciate them. They are pretty quick to fill my prescriptions as well.”

“Store is understaffed looking for a box of bandages none on shelf stock person said they were in back room came back and said no way to find them as in totes and would take days to dig them out”
“This PRAISE is very overdue but, well deserved. I take several medications and the doctor had started me on 3 new one's. After the second day on them I felt like I was going to pass out. Scared and living by myself I called the Pharmacy to see if my symptoms could be due to new med. The pharmacist on duty that night was Azzedine Benchaar at the Walgreens on Cleveland & Bendix in South Bend, IN. I told him what I felt like and he double checked my meds to see if they could be causing my symptoms but he said, no there were no red flags for the medication I was on at the time. He then asked if someone could come stay or check on me but I told him there was no one. Afraid of passing out at home alone, I drove to ER (6pm)about 7 minutes from my house. When I arrived and got out vehicle felt like passing out and a couple walking by helped me into the ER where they took me right in. Of course the ran a bunch of tests which showed I had pneumonia and for some reason my blood pressure was dropping. I was discharged about 2a the next morning. When I arrived home I checked my cell phones and had 2 calls. One was from the pharmacist Azzedine and the other from my neighbors saying they were worried because there was a pharmacist at my house stopping to check on me on his way home from work that night about 11:30p. The neighbors and he walked around to my driveway and saw my vehicle was gone and Azzedine said, "At Least I know she is with someone." I was so touched that he was that concerned about me to go above and beyond to check on me especially after a long day of work. The following morning he called when he got to the pharmacy to check on me again and was so glad to hear I was OK and told me to call if anymore questions or problems. When I saw his manager the next time I was in the store I told him of the caring thing that Azzedine did. I don't know if corporate offices get these posts but if so I believe this pharmacist deserves recognition for going ABOVE & BEYOND out of concern for one of his customers health and safety. “I made an appointment 3 days ago to get a flu vaccine at Ireland Road only to have my appointment cancelled 2 hours before. I rescheduled online at Cleveland Rd for 6:50 p.m. today. I was unable to get my vaccine due to staffing. I appreciate they heard my complaint and the manager handled it well. It's always good to see businesses who value their customers.”
