“The decision to put down my best friend of 10 years was the hardest think I think I've ever done in my short 29 years on this planet. Dr. Ankrom was amazing. She explained everything very well and understood where we were at. Her and the support from all the rest of the staff was incredible. Nothing but kindness and love was given to my baby in his last moments. Also, partnering with Palmer across the street made getting him cremated fast and stress free while we mourn. His ashes were ready to be picked up in less than 24hrs from the time we left their facility. I couldn't have asked for a better support through this. All I have to say is thank you to every single person that was there for us and our baby boy yesterday.

“We are so grateful for the kind treatment we received here. Although the procedure our kitty needed turned out to be unaffordable on our (rather low) budget, we felt that the doctor and the staff all "bent over backwards" to try to provide us as much help as they could give, and to make our decisions easier. The doctor spent a lot of time talking with us and gave us much helpful information, including possible options. I wish I'd had the money to get the surgery done at this clinic, because these people are clearly some of the best--if your cat needs a dental procedure, you will get top-of-the-line pain prevention and control here; plus, you'll get to meet some of the nicest people in the vet business. True, the rates are not cheap, but in this case you get the superb care you pay for. I would recommend this clinic a dozen times over!”

“Dr. Chris Payton and Pam Mahlie are the best! They came to my home to euthanize my dog, which was so kind - something other vets in the area appear not to be willing to do. They have gone out of their way to help with other pets in so many ways - once Pam delivered medication to my house along with a doggie diaper for my dog who was near his end and could not walk very well so that I wouldn't have to come in to get it. Those two are angels.”

“It's the oldest business phone number I remember. I began taking my pets to the SB Animal Clinic in 1972 to see Dr Worley. Then Dr McGowan, Dr Buchs, Dr Kim, and of course Andrea has been 'dog whispering' to my Lhasa Apsos for a really long time, too. Dr Duncan has there long enough to understand the difference, too. It has lost much of the family charm that I so much appreciated. The clinic has always let me make payments for my pets, but not any longer. It's gone corporate on us and I may switch to Roseland if they will have me.The heart is missing and the corporate clowns have arrived. I can't even tell if the woman hiding in the tiny cubby even likes animals and it's just sort of breaking my heart.”
