“I saw a 2022 Ford Explorer on their website, the miles and price seemed right, so I made a call, I got a bunch more pictures and info and requested a buyers order, we set pickup for the following Saturday, I decided a test drive would be in order, I’m glad that I did. It turned out that there was a noise, I felt it was a wheel bearing (common problem on explorers with 70k ish miles), they said that I could make the purchase and that they would fix it and deliver the car to me (3 1/2 hours each way), it turned out being a differential assembly, $2000 or so to fix in a shop. Instead of trying to pass the cost onto me, or nixing the deal and refunding my money, fixed and delivered the car.
