Maxwelton Golf Club is a fun and challenging public course. It is beautifully kept, with a challenging layout featuring subtle hills, several blind fairways, and lightning fast, uneven rollercoaster greens. The fairways are fair, while the rough provides a penalty. The updated clubhouse is noted, and the staff is very nice. The course has a fun history that is visible throughout. It is considered a wonderful track that is improving every year, offering a terrific time for players seeking a challenge.

Nice course. Groundskeeper gave us some fun history on the course. They take care if it pretty well. More challenging than initially thought. If you are vacationing at either lake, this is a really nice option to play.

I played this course last fall after the greens had been aerated, so we didn't enjoy it. This last weekend, the course was in great shape. If you like a challenge, with several blind fairways, and lightning fast rollercoaster greens, this place is for you. We had a terrific time!
