Dollar General has become a little pricey so look around before buying, some of their employees aren't very happy people although working in the public isn't always easy, but a little smile once in a while wouldn't hurt the atmosphere.

I was at the Dollar General Today, August 9 at 4:25 to look for one item. I was literally in the store, including checkout five minutes. The cashier whose name I believe is, Callie asked me if my 2 pound two month old puppy was a service dog or an emotional support dog. When I told her it was not she told me in the future I cannot bring her into the store.
I was carrying her she wasn’t barking and it was 92° with the heat index. I wasn’t about to leave a two month old puppy or any dog for that matter in the car in this heat.
I come this way every Saturday and most the times I stop at the Dollar General for one thing or the other, but in the future, I won’t be stopping at this Dollar General anymore. I like to bring my puppy with me to go visit my brother. I’m not leaving her in the car
I understand some stores have policies. I don’t See what the harm was especially since I carried her the entire time.
And I’m not even sure if she was allowed to ask me if it was an emotional support dog or not since I think that might violate HIPAA

They need to have items that have coupons. Not going back again because they NEVER have what I go there to shop. ALSO how about unsweetened tea!!!! Milos extra sweet, pure leaf sweetened. NOT DIABETES FRIENDLY.
