I’ve seen Dr. Joe Downing for a back issues multiple times now (twice in late summer 2022, and now twice in 2023 – different, but similar injuries). As an active person who does strength and conditioning training 4+ days a week and works a physically active job, needing to stay pain free and mobile is a top priority. The Drs and staff at VRP are polite, professional, and very thorough. They’re extremely knowledgeable on a range of conditions and leave you feeling well cared for with a solid plan to recover and move forward in life pain-free.I highly recommend VRP to anyone experiencing physical pain issues.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pain is experienced in the brain. Pain is not usually weakness leaving the body. Looking at the pain and redefining the signals my brain receives was important to my recovery. I have a number of ouchies from a car bike accident ten years ago. In January I could only walk about ten minutes before pain stopped me. I just got back from a two mile walk with minimal pain, and I believe with my new awareness and strategies I will continue to improve. By august I should be able to do a 5k walking easy. My goal is to do it running. I believe it is attainable now. Thanks.

I’ve heard nothing but great things about Adam which brought me to the clinic. He has his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and has multiple other certifications. He was very thorough, caring and checked in on me regularly during my rehab journey. He gave me the knowledge and understanding not only to improve my mobility currently but to be more independent going forward with my diagnosis.

I have suffered with back pain for years and tried to manage with chiropractic, but it never got better. I was desperate for help. I had been to a neurologist, orthopedic doctor and another physical therapist. They all told me I was fine (yet I had debilitating pain.) I decided to give physical therapy one more try but wanted someone who specialized in the back. These guys are it! Dr. Adam keeps up on the latest research and used science based practices to get me feeling better than I have in years. He also taught me to self manage. Thank you!

My entire experience here was amazing from beginning to end. Communication prior to my first appointment was top notch. The drs spend amble amount of 1-1 time with each patient. They ensure you know how to get ahold of them between appointments if anything gets worse. I would 100% recommend.

Such great therapists!! They truly listen to you and care about how you are doing. They give you exercises to do at home to help improve and ALWAYS tell you if you get worse to call, even after hours. Also they let you know how to fix your problem if it returns. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Definitely the best physical therapists I have ever been to!!

I highly recommend VRP for your physical therapy needs. They take the time to listen and find the source of the pain which isn’t always where you hurt or what imaging shows. The one-on-one treatments with your therapist always you to heal quicker and get back to your life! Joe was an amazing therapist and checked in with me between therapy visits and truly cared about my health and me getting better. I can’t say enough good things, if I have any problems in the future I will go here for therapy!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I appreciate how Dr. Pomfret truly cares for each patient from a personal perspective, listening to their concerns and treating based on where they are both medically and mentally. He does extensive research and is always on the cutting edge of technology. Highly recommend.

Honestly, I don't have enough good things to say about Joey and his team here at Valley Rehabilitation and Performance. I've had problems with my neck for years and it was starting to effect my hands and how I lived my every day life. Joey was super confident he could fix my issue, quickly. And he did. He gave me tips to make sure that I knew how to fix it when/if my pain flared up again. They care about their patients here more than any other physical therapy office ive ever been to (and Ive been to a few). Joey called me to check in and see how I was doing with the exercises in between visits, which you don't see much of anymore! The one on one attention and judgement free zone was the icing on the cake for me. Seriously, if you ever need PT, come see these guys!

Exceptional in a world of mediocre, these guys care and know what they are doing even when it seems otherwise, spent years with issues week's of bulging compresseddisc pain, to have Joe give almost immidiate relief, when he decided he could do no more he made sure I got immidiate care instead of milking my insurance. My Wife uses them I use them so should you.

I was participating in a CrossFit competition in Terre Haute and during the competition I injured my calf and was not able to finish the competition. Walking was difficult and painful. I am a serious CrossFit athlete and was 35th in the world in my age group last year. This was a devastating blow to my chances to move to the next level of competition this year. I was devastated by this.I did some research over the weekend and reached out to Valley Rehab and Performance on Monday. They got me in same day. I went through what I thought was quite a few questions and tests that did not seem related to my calf. I was asked to do a number of seated forward bends, then get up. This movement aggravated my calf issue! Then I did 20 back extensions from a prone position. I was asked to get up and walk and the calf felt significantly better. So good in fact I was able to jump! So the diagnosis was that this was a back issue and not a calf issue. It was just reflecting in my calf.I am familiar with PT and typically I do in and am given a series of exercises, stretches, foam rolling etc. for a given condition. Movements I already know. This approach was unique and highly effective. I would highly recommend Valley Rehabilitation & Performance if you are in need of Physical Therapy.

I can't recommend these guys enough. I've hit that age where there's always some part of me breaking. And since I'm pretty active I seem to find new ways to break myself. Luckily, I've had Dr. Pomfret around to fix me. Both times I went to him he had found the source of my pain (hint: it's often not centered in the place where you feel the pain!) within minutes and left me with exercises that provided immediate relief. I simply haven't had that result with any other physical therapist and I've seen my share. If you're in need of rehab, there's no other place I'd go first!

This place deserves a 5 star rating. Dr. Adam Pomfret helped me fix my lower back from my injury 2 months ago. He was patient, kind and very knowledgeable in what he does. Dr. Joe Downing is also an amazing physical therapist that I definitely recommend seeing. Give these guys a call if you are in need of seeing a PT!!!
