Great place to do business! Always have chains for my Stihl saws when I go in there, needed a cheap hacksaw today and I got just that, cheaper than TSC next door. Customer service is always excellent, thank you Ace hardware of Tipton!

Dont call up here expecting anyone check inventory. Employees dont know tools from a hole in the ground even if you spell it out for them.

How do you have 40+ belts hanging on your front wall and your employees not know and have no way of knowing what they fit?
Two grown men...I suspect both over the age of 60...have no idea of knowing what you have nor how to look it up.
In this age of poor service, small town business owners complaining about box stores like Lowes and Menards taking their business and charging lower prices...
I would think service and knowledge would be paramount to your sales process.
Instead, I learned two things today. Your employees have no clue, again at age 60+, how to sell your products...one of them even saying that they don't have any idea how old the belts are and recommended I don't by one...
And secondly...
An 18-year-old at Topps in Elwood went out of his way to help me try to find the belt for my riding mower. Topps also did not have what I needed. However, he sincerely tried to do his job.
What your employees don't know is that I had already spent over $50 on two previous visits to your store today...
...I won't be back.
