Let me just start off by saying if you have Jeff as your salesman, request someone new. Jeff at Dan young gave me a complete run around then refused to right ANY of his mistakes. Starting off he preferred to do most of his communication via text message which is fine but because of that I had everything he told me in writing. After I gave him my social and he ran my credit, he came back with numbers for how much my payment was supposed to be. I was happy with them and we rolled on. The day I’m arriving to pick up the vehicle I had already reserved, I noticed there is now a $1500 discount on it. So when I arrive I ask for the discount of course and he comes back to tell me that was a mistake and it was only meant for the other vehicles on the lot but not mine. Strike #1. Next I had asked multiple times about any rebates or discounts (like military) and he told me they don’t offer any until things started going wrong for him then he offered the military discount. Strike #2. And finally we sit down to finance and they give me the numbers for a completely different loan term than I requested and it was made very clear that Jeff had told the loan officer that I wanted the wrong loan term. Then when I get the right loan term the numbers are WAY higher than originally given. Jeff then comes in and tries to proceed in telling me he told me the correct numbers until I pulled up the text messages and showed him he was wrong then all he could say was “I don’t know where I got those numbers from”. And “im pretty sure I told you the correct numbers on the phone” which was a lie. The only numbers I was given was what was stated in text. Then I asked to see a manager and he just sat down in the chair and started playing on the computer saying “I swear I told you those numbers”. Well Jeff, I have texts that say otherwise. Then I ask what can we do to bring that price down to the numbers he had originally given me and he tells me “nothing because he’s been called 5-6 times already by people in other states ready to come by the same truck as is.” Strike #3. I did still end up buying the truck because I had already driven from Kansas to Ohio and sold my vehicle and got a ride to Indiana to buy this truck. Overall moral of the story here is Jeff is a conman of a salesman and a liar. I can’t speak for anyone else at Dan young other than the finance guy who was super cool and tried to help out but if Jeff answers that phone when you call, request to speak to someone else.EDIT: Following the posting of this review, the sales manager Charles Witt and the finance manager did reach out to make things right. They seemed genuinely upset that this whole thing even took place and was more than willing to come up with a solution to compensate me for the problems I had. For that, I say thank you to them and have changed my 1 star to 4 stars. I would also like to say in no way am I trying to discredit this dealership, but my review and opinion of Jeff still stands! Just simply ask for someone else to help you and save yourself the trouble.

We recently purchased a 2024 Trax RS from this dealership. The deal was all sight unseen and not driven. We knew what we wanted and they had it on their lot. Drew was our salesman and was stellar to work with. His communication was on point, making the transaction a breeze. They coordinated delivery of the vehicle to me as well. Would 10/10 recommend them for your business.

Joe Cottingham was great. Joe is very knowledgeable about the vehicles he sells. We were never hurried in making a decision and he wanted us to understand everything about the vehicle.

I got low balled pretty bad on my trade in, but I really wanted the new car so I took it. They gave me $16,750 for my trade and then listed it for sale on their site for $20,599. I know they need to make some money on the trade, but damn. They should have given me the Kelley Blue Book trade in value of $17,500. Otherwise, a pretty positive experience.

I came all the way from Michigan to buy at this dealership. Joel the salesman - easy to work with, did everything he said he would do. Love the 3.0 DuraMax 1/2 ton Chevy pickup.

Made an appointment then had a conflict. Happy to make another and did the oil change & tire rotation quickly. The ladies in the office were super friendly when I went in to pay & pick car up.

The Drew Crew was awesome to work with! We built a car online and found one that matched our specifications at Dan Young. We called in the middle of the week to confirm availability. Sue was helpful over the phone and very informative. She connected us with the Drew Crew and the process was very simple. We were able to put money down over the phone and pick up the vehicle on Saturday. Very friendly folks, knowledgeable about the vehicle, and made the buying process easy. I would recommend Dan Young to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.

Joel was very clear when in his conversation re: explaining how SUV works & showing us also. Did follow-up on finding the color we wanted. Very personable. Also the finance person worked quickly w/ the paper work. Usually it seems like a very long time but not w/ him. He was very personable also. Both were very friendly & knowledgeable.

We had a problem with our Impala and dropped it into the dealer service. The staff were very helpful, and the shuttle driver gave us a ride home. The car was fixed in a reasonable time frame and once agin, the shuttle driver picked us up. I find the staff helpful, courteous and very friendly. A very positive experience at this dealer and would recommend them!

Quite honestly, it was not a positive experience for me. I had to bring the car in twice to get the same problem fixed. The second time, my dad dropped my car off and the Shuttle Driver was not there, so he had to walk home! A business full of sales-people and a lot full of vehicles, and not a single person offered to drive him home. He is 84 years old! There is just no excuse for that.I was given a loaner to use on this second visit; however, it was a truck. A rather large truck! I could barely get in and out of it. I told them that I was not comfortable driving this and I was told there was nothing else available, but they could "get one tomorrow." No attempt was made to do this...or at least nobody ever called to say they had a different one for me.When my car was finished and I went to pick it up, there was nobody to tell me what was actually wrong with it. I understand that the service department was closed at the time, but if that was the case then at the very least a phone call should have been made to tell me what they had to do. Especially since it was my second time in 3 days that they had to work on it.And it isn't the first time. When I needed my first oil change for my leased vehicle, I was told it would be 2 weeks before they could get me in. TWO WEEKS!!!!! I find it hard to believe that they were booked solid for 2 weeks. So, I had to take it to a dealer in Fishers. The second time I needed an oil change, I was told the same thing...when I questioned it, they suddenly had an opening the next day. On that visit, I asked them to look at my windshield wiper as it was not working...they replace it and charged me $20 to do so. Mind you, the car was only 6 months old! I would think a brand new car would have wipers that lasted more than 6 months! Especially since I had to wait that long to get my heated seats! My lease payments were not adjusted during the time I did not have everything that I should have in my vehicle.I was beyond disappointed in all of these experiences. When my lease is set to expire, the chances of me returning to Dan Young to find a new car are extremely low at this time. Very unfortunate.

This is our 3rd purchase from Dan Young and second with salesman Joel Hancock. Joel was extremely helpful when we bought a used car off the lot two years ago and has guided us through the process of ordering our new truck, making it as stress free as possible. I highly recommend Joel for all your car buying needs!

My experience with Jeff Hughes at the Dan Young dealership was negative, and I would not recommend. We negotiated for a truck, and we were $500 apart. He claimed he couldn't agree to final price until the truck was put through their service, and asked if I wanted to put down a $500 deposit-hold until then. I agreed. Two days pass with no communication, and I just assume it's still being serviced. On the third day he sends me an email at noon saying he wouldn't drop his price from the original listing at all and asked me what I wanted to do. He never bothered to text or call (yes, he had my number), just the email. By the time I saw the email and got back to him, he claimed "I'm sorry the 48 hour hold was up around 1pm and we sold the truck to somebody else because we didn't have an agreed upon price."I'd avoid this business based on my experience with them, but maybe it's just the one salesperson. Who knows.

We contacted this dealership about a truck they had on their lot. We were assigned a salesman by the name of Jeff Hughes. After driving 2.5 hours to test drive we told Jeff we would take the truck. On the test drive Jeff claimed they would service and fix a few aesthetic issues. We placed a $500 deposit to hold the truck and told Jeff we would be back to pick it up after he serviced and fixed the few issues. 2 days later Jeff sold the truck out from under us. Save yourself some time and DO NOT deal with this dealership.
