Great customer service. We saw a car online we wanted and went to check it out. Toby was helpful and friendly. No pressure, easy buying experience. For a really small town the dealership is really nice on the inside.

I’ve purchased my past 2 vehicles from Tipton Ford today I went to get a simple sensor fixed and an oil change. Turned into me sitting for 2 hours just for them just do my oil change not to fix my sensor, which is what I mainly came in for. In the past when I get my oil changed they come out and tell me how everything was. Nope. And I even asked and all they could say was “it’s not on the file” and when I asked about my sensor being changed the guy at the desk said that he didn’t know anything. They had to figure out some warranty things and the way he made it sound was that they actually fixed it and I come back tomorrow and pay for it. And when I get back into my car my check engine light is still on. I don’t have the extra time to spend another 2 hours just for them to charge me another $150. I just didn’t appreciate how I was treated today.

We moved back to this part of Indiana all excited about being close to Tipton Ford. Over the years we’ve purchased over six brand new trucks, and two cars for our company and our personal use. We would even buy a vehicle’s sight unseen by making a phone call. Can’t speak for the sales side but the service department has been horrendous. We have a two year old F150 that we purchased from another dealer. Anytime we’ve brought it in for service including a simple oil change it’s been an ordeal. This last go around included a sensor that they accused us of damaging by driving over something. Considering I’m a grandmother that doesn’t four wheel and no one uses my truck, that was a little insulting. Several warning lights had gone off on the instrument panel. They told us we had to buy a new sensor and it wasn’t covered under warranty. We suspected that we had animal damage as we had a squirrel that got up under there. In addition we had some light issues. We told them to put the sensor back in and that we would take it to another Ford dealer. That Ford dealer in fishers Indiana confirm the sensor was fine that the wiring just needed fixed. Saved us over $500 . They also informed us that the rubber boot that covers the sensor is made out of soy oil. That’s why the squirrels chewed on it and that we needed to get some type of product to cover that device and other devices. That’s in addition to us actually trapping the squirrels and relocating them. This is not the only issue we had as we had a wiper arm out of alignment that would hit the post of the truck every time you had the wipers on. On three different occasions, Tipton tried to adjust it with no luck. I just don’t think they have qualified staff.

This was a awesome experience. I had Toby as a salesman. He had everything ready for me when I showed up. I was in and out in a hour. This is the fastest and most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. Thank you Toby my daughter loves ❤️ the car.

Bought a car from the scam artists a month ago, it’s been broken down for over two weeks…no help from these horrible people….I would suggest you just buy a bicycle, it’s way cheaper and more useful than one of their “fantastic” used cars!!! Run!!!! Run as fast as you can to a REAL dealership with actual humans and not monsters for employees!!! My next stop is the Better Business Bureau’s website!!!!!

Bought a 2020 mustang gt I saw that it had abnormal wear on the inside of the front tires when I was buying it and asked the salesman if it had been aligned he assured me yes it had. Took car home less than 3000 miles later I took it to a tire shop to have the tires looked at and the front tire that I had asked them about and had been reassured it was fixed was ready to blow. It was severe enough that the tire company didn’t want me to drive it home. I asked them to help me with the cost of repairs that they lied and said they made, and they said no, asked for 200$ to cover alignment they said no. Now I’m out 1200 for tires and alignment on a car I haven’t ever changed oil in yet!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!Go Somewhere Where They Stand Behind What They Sell!!! This dealer does NOT!!!!!!Do Yourself a Favor and read the rest of the 1 star reviews there is a very clear pattern of unprofessionalism at this dealership. I wish I would have before my purchase. Go somewhere else anywhere will be better than Tipton Ford Defenitely not the best dealership in the world!!!!

Completely disappointed and frustrated with everything related to the vehicle purchase, warranty, and follow up. Sales manager Michael does not reply to emails and his supervisor couldn’t have cared less to even follow up with our need after several emails went unanswered. Even an inquiry on their website went unanswered. Just blew us off completely. Maybe a poor Google review will get someone to return a call or email?

This dealership will not receive any stars from me, I had been researching a car I wanted on the Carfax (app/website), and I did my prepurchasing through the CarGurus (app). I literally had to show up and sign the papers. This dealership's word means NOTHING, zero integrity. I did everything in textbook fashion, set an appointment on the previous business day ( and confirmed with Skylar via text (he confirmed it to be 1:15), and came in ON TIME with all the proper documents and insurance information. Instead, I arrived in the most uncomfortable situation I had ever been in as a customer in my entire life. We decided after arriving to check out the car before we went in to sign, 3 guys stood outside shooting uncomfortable remarks, "It's sold don't bother, among other things." It was a very uncomfortable feeling to have, especially after driving 40 minutes to sign a contract, and I did not choose a backwater dealership, I thought I chose a big-name dealer I could trust, I've owned 4 different Mustangs throughout my life, I have never had a bad name to say about the brand.. I had been speaking to Skylar since the a.m. and my financials had already been submitted AND approved), next we walked in not to be greeted by any form of customer service representative, no instead we found our seats ourselves, as everyone stared at us uncomfortably as if in disbelief we were there. To make a long story shorter, we sat there without anyone having the courtesy to even tell us we were wasting our time instead I was told my appointment meant nothing in so many words, they didn't even try to offer us something else. Instead, 45 minutes later after watching a group of younger guys shoot looks and comments AND go through financing qualifications on the car, I came to finalize, as we sat there while the door was open full audience to all of it AND the looks. We finally got pulled into an office with Skylar who told us "He texted us someone was looking at it." This was after we told him we were on our way, coming to sign, and that we had a 40-minute drive. He also told us that if we had put a 500$ hold it would have been different. In the numerous times we had communicated in the last 24 hours (twice by phone, even more through text messages) NOT ONCE did he ever mention a 500$ hold, it totally wouldn't have been an issue. I had even called the previous day and spoken to someone to whom replied Skylar was busy, I told them very clearly and concisely I did all my prequalifications 24 hours in advance, I'm very serious about the car, and literally want to visually inspect before I sign, but am ready to sign WITH a deal on the table. Skylar then took it up a notch and lied time to our faces (one of which is confirmed via text) and told us we had no appt, but they did. (However, he must have forgotten that he texted me a group of guys walked in with no appointment and just thought I should. I mean what good is an appointment if a FORD DEALER won't even honor it? Furthermore, he was completely aware I was on my way to sign and driving a 40-minute drive. We unapologetically walked out without any promise of any other service, an apology, just uncomfortable looks, and a 60x more uncomfortable situation. This dealership has no honor and integrity and will unapologetically waste your time and if it suits them put you in an uncomfortable situation. Thank you for reading and happy shopping... Hopefully not here.

I went to this dealership to purchase a used vehicle with a trade in. I knew the value of my trade and I knew my budget on what I wanted to pay. I arrived at the dealer on a Saturday morning and Toby was the rep that was going to help me out. He apologized first thing because apparently two sales reps had quit the day before and they were short staffed. Toby had two other customers he was trying to assist at the same time I showed up.Toby walked me over to the vehicle and I immediately started with technical questions about the vehicle, since it was an EV. Toby was honest (which I greatly appreciate) and said I probably know more about the car than he did (thanks youtube!). Toby then gave me the room I needed to poke, prod and pull panels to check the engine and fuse box as I saw fit. While I'm sure they thought I was a crazy person for checking the vehicle so thoroughly, they let me do what I felt I needed to ensure I would be satisfied with the purchase without making me feel like my antics were a bother.It took a couple rounds of doing the numbers with the manager, but eventually we landed on a deal for the trade in and financing where we could all walk away happy. There were no surprises.Even though they were short staffed and not able to provide the QUANTITY of service they would like, their QUALITY of service was top notch. I arrived with realistic expectations on the value of my trade in, what I wanted to pay and all my paperwork to close. As a serious buyer, I was treated with respect and that is not easy to find when buying a used car.I will not hesitate in doing business with this dealership again in the future.

We had the best experience with Toby. We walked in with our trade in and the vehicle we had been looking and were interested in was ready for us to test drive. The paperwork process was so well organized and made the whole experience enjoyable! We will definitely be coming back here for our next vehicles! Thanks again Toby!

I didn’t even purchase a car from them but am leaving a review anyways. I called about a vehicle they had on their lot and the salesman was very upfront with me about the problems of the car. I ended up passing but the honesty of the salesman and the dealership deserves recognition. Thanks, Toby!
