“Was in Goshen IN for the Montana Owners Rally at the Elkhart County 4H Fairgrounds. Our group split into two groups to have the Amish Wedding Dinner over to seprate evenings.
This was a wonderful family style dinner. Our host (Seth I believe) told of about the trading up to the Wedding Dinner. This was a reflection back on this young man's experiences of his own life.
Wonderful experiance I am glad we had the privilege to attend.”

“From the time we walked into the Inn until we left was great! The ladies at the front desk were very nice. Room was very clean and spacious. Bed and pillows were comfortable! The ONLY complaint I have was that doors starting banging about 6am. My husband went and looked and he said it was the housekeepers. Other than that, the stay was great and we will stay again!”

“Dining in a private Amish home is an incredible experience that ought to be on everyone's bucket list. This place was recommended to us not by a tourist but by a friendly relative of the Amish owner, Brenda Slabaugh (everyone in this settlement is close-knit). Like other in-home dining venues, the spacious room also serves as a social gathering and worship place for the Amish. Nearly everything in the huge kitchen is prepared from scratch and served family-style. The fixed menu includes bread, salad, chicken, roast beef, noodles, mashed potatoes, cooked vegetables, and assorted pies. Everything we tasted was phenomenal. Homemade peanut butter and jam, spread on fresh-baked bread, were ethereal. The 'colorific' salad was colorful indeed and tossed in a savory vinaigrette. White meat chicken fingers and dark meat were breaded and baked (not fried) to perfection. The beef (pot roast, perhaps) was fork-tender and juicy. All of the side dishes and pies were just as wonderful.Brenda and family members who helped her prepare and serve the meal were friendly and attentive to our needs, and happy to answer questions about Amish lifestyle and customs. Of course, a 'modern' restroom is available. This business is aimed at large parties and tour groups, but it's available to smaller parties on Wednesday evenings. Advance reservations are required”
