The Apple Works is an orchard growing over 70 varieties of apples, with greenhouses and a pumpkin patch in a quiet wooded setting. It offers family-focused activities in September and October, with field trips and special events. It is not a U-Pick orchard and has seasonal retail hours. Reviews describe it as a fun place with lots of entertainment for all ages, a great spot for pictures, and worth multiple visits for different apple varieties. Many find it a cute place to enjoy. Some note recent changes under new ownership, describing the experience as night-and-day different from previous years. While some visitors report friendly employees and fun, tasty local items, others have found customer service lacking or staff unfriendly. A small admission fee is sometimes charged for special events. Visitors are reminded to be respectful of the property and that only service pets are allowed.
Tasty apples & cider. Skip the wagon ride. You ride around 2 ponds, weedy fields & apple trees. You have already parked by the apple trees so what is there to see from the wagon except the mosquitoes? Cute animals & slide from the barn.

I went on many field trips to Apple Works over the years! You learn a lot about apple orchards and they have delicious apples! Not to mention apple cider! I'm hoping to come back in October.
