“Courtney was wonderful to interact with under a most trying time for my family and me. Good vibes and clean units Only suggestion might be that the gate that opens when you put in your code to go in, takes about 30 seconds to close. If someone is behind you who does not have a code they might be able to slip in. However, I don’t think that that would be an issue since you need a code again to get into the building. And they would not be able to get out without a code ?”

“My experience with Heartland Storage was so easy and smooth. I called them, received the information I needed, they sent me a link, and everything was done online. I received my confirmation and before I knew it my storage was ready to go. The people were friendly and inviting. My storage unit very clean and cameras are every where so its secure. “Excellent service, great location, and an outstanding owner! We used HCS at this location twice. The first was for 80% of home while we were in a temporary location waiting for a new home build. Needed two large units and wine storage. Everything was easy to set-up, clean when we arrived, and secure for the year we needed storage. The owner is responsive and helpful with questions. Used another unit a few years later when our son was moving from one apartment to another with a four month gap. We had the same great experience. I would trust all of the Harbor Country Storage locations and will go out of my way to use them when needed again.”
“Very secure, spacious lot and cameras everywhere. My friend parks his simi tractors here and is very pleased with the space rent and security...only a gravel lot but not so coarse you can't lay down a piece of cardboard and check over your equipment, I as a mechanic of 35 years was very pleased!! Wonderful use of this space in the area.”

“(REVIEW EDIT: The caretaker of the property has done a fantastic job as of the last few months, and would like to say thank you for being more punctual with the Open/Close times, and for keeping the area around the dumpster cleaned up and very presentable! HUGE improvements, very impressed! Hope they (i.e. The Caretaker) gets a raise or at least a bonus for their hard work. Significant improvements should be awarded and appreciated!) ORIGINAL POST: Very nice, for a cheaper self storage facility. The overall price, location, convenience, and business model all seem to be solid, and I only have 1 complaint worth speaking on, which is the unit insurance that you can't opt out of unless you do it in person at their physical office, however their closest office is roughly 60-80 miles away! If you could, either A.) Change the policy to allow an online/over the phone option to opt out of the OPTIONAL insurance, or B.) Open more offices closer to individual facilities to provide better customer service. I'd love to operate one of your locations, if we could potentially open an office branch at my local storage location to better assist the surrounding area of LaPorte County! Glad to see so many improvements!!”
