I've had several Debit Card problems, not of the bank's fault. There employees have gone beyond simple help. I express my appreciation for their treatment and help. 1st Source has a great staff.

I had always had good customer service and that was why I continued to use 1st source until I didn’t, and now I wish I didn’t have to give one star at all.
I took my 16 year old daughter to open her first account at this Bank. Around the same time, I closed an account that I had there. Well, somehow, they mixed up my debit card and my daughter’s account. So some debits were coming off of my card into her account which caused her overdraft fees. Now mind you the whole reason why I open this account is the teach her responsibility and keeping track of her money. Well, she was doing that but in the meantime, more stuff is coming out of her account that she was not aware of. Because of this they charged almost $160 dollars in overdraft fees to my child’s account.
I called the bank several times the first time, the person who actually made the mistake only removed one fee. When I called back. They told me they would remove all the fees But I had to pay the balance. Which was like $30. Well, they never removed the fees. So I got a letter in the mail yesterday telling me that they reported my minor child and myself to check systems for a balance of $147 dollars because of an error that they made. I am livid.
Teaching a child to be responsible with their money and keep track of a banking account is important. 1st Source messed this one up. Also teaching a child to for take accountability for their own mistakes is important and 1st source messed that up too. I’m not one for writing bad reviews but this one is well deserved. The way it was handled. It was terrible. Also I would like to mention that when I called to resolve issues with the customer service reps they were very friendly and helpful. It was the ladies in the bank they were condescending and acted as if I was trying to get a hand out! No, I just needed them to fix their errors and take responsibility.
I would not recommend this bank.

I am new to the area and haven't transferred my banking to this area and I went in to exchange SIX DOLLARS for pennies for my child's school and they refused all because I didn't have an account with them. If it were hundreds or thousands of dollars, I could understand, but SIX DOLLARS?!?!? Not to mention the lady was quite rude.

Currently you need an appointment to go in the lobby but I called from the lot with coin to change in and they came out to my car. It was great service in a complicated time!
