Save your time and go elsewhere. Irresponsible with items, horrid attitudes, and unprofessional in handling business. They had no remorse for losing our item and offered no solutions.

I did sign release for a lovely sequined evening top but lady said would most likely be ok. All sequins missing. I have previously worked dry cleaned items so know it’s possible to do. Handed to me no explanation. Offered a credit for the item - no thank you.Service: Special care fabric cleaning

Admittedly I did sign release that the sequined evening blouse I brought in may lose sequins-though lady at desk assured me most unlikely. Having actually labored as a dry cleaner for many years I understood- though I had always been careful working on items like these and never lost any. They handed it to me with absolutely no sequins and didn’t say a word. Called talked to manager who said they would credit me. No thank you. Would not recommend for any delicate items.

My husband and I have been using Colonial for a while, since before the fire caused them to move from their old place on Rt. 30. And honestly, it’s been great until recently. We have been using the Calumet location and twice now I have seen an employee (the same one) smoking out the drop off window, both times causing the place to reek of cigarette smoke when I went inside to pick up my clothes. I pay to have my clothes dry cleaned so they look great and smell fresh; definitely not to then sit in a room that smells of cigarette smoke. That’s just…gross. I’m disappointed to say I’ll be taking our business elsewhere.

I started using this company a year ago. The last time I picked up my clothes, I noticed my pants had not been cleaned. They were not pressed and did not smell clean after I wore them to a outside concert for the first time and I smelled smoke on them. I thought maybe I was wrong then I went to pick up 2 blazers today and the one we told them to be careful about was missing 2 of the nickle size jewels and when we dropped it off the guy who is the owners son was very rude and did not want to be working that day. We told him to hang on to the jewels if they fell out. It is my moms coat and I can fix it. When I picked it up I noticed the jewels missing and asked if they had them or put them in the pockets. The girl did not know and called him. They both would not look for them and he told her to give me 7$ and tell me they will not do business with us . I couldnt believe it. I am the one who should be telling him that I wont be back. This guy is so rude . They will definitely lose business treating customers badly.
