I do drive through, but generally have to call about prescriptions because something isn't right (my doctor, not them . . . ) . Ok, their on hold music makes you pray that God will make you deaf as quickly as possible, but the help there is amazing. Drive through people are great. Staff inside is great. Pharmacists look at me like I should be drug tested, and sometimes give me one of those smiles like "I want to be friendly, but please stay away from my children." But this place rocks.

CVS Pharmacy, 3400 Calumet Avenue, Valparaiso. Today, for the 3rd day in arow I received a text from CVS regarding a prescription. I am so annoyed at receiving these unnecessary texts. Stop bothering me daily over a prescription. I do know how to contact you as well.

The pharmacy staff is not good. Crabby and rude. There is a female pharmacist there that is the worst.

Twice now I’ve called pharmacy for info on a script (Incruse) and encountered 2 very rude and abrupt women. They come across like they are in a hurry and I’m bothering them.

DO NOT SEND YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE! They will not take goodrx for certain prescriptions because they won’t make any money. She then began to tell me she would fill it and with a hour to go on her shift she said that they would fill it tomorrow? She wasn’t doing anything. The pharmacy is a sham, lazy, and think they know more than a licensed doctor. If you just had a surgery they do not care about your problem, only about how much money they will make and what they think is best.

Terrible pharmacy hospitality and management. Wrote to corporate due to the serious issues dealing with this store. Recommend going to the one on Morthland instead.

First, I’d like to say I have never had a bad experience at this CVS until today, that is. I scheduled flu shots for my husband, son and I on the CVS website and when we went in this morning to get them the pharmacy tech looked up our appointments and said she couldn’t find anything in their system, then proceeded to ask if I was sure that I made them for that store & then said she couldn’t do them anyways since she was the only tech on duty. No apologies were given and then I explained that I just didn’t want this to happen to anyone else if the system is showing open appointments if there are none. She didn’t seem interested so I asked to speak to the manager, the assistant manager Jacob was there and he said that would be an issue with corporate and that I would need to contact them. Again, no apology for the inconvenience. He then said we could talk to the manager when he is back on Tuesday. My husband went back in to get the manager’s name and that is when the only apology was given. I understand that system glitches and mistakes can happen, but the fact that they didn’t seem to care to try to rectify the situation or to figure out what happened is what really bothered me. I am on the phone with corporate now and thankfully the interaction with them is much better. They are going to forward this info to the district manager and they are helping me to get us scheduled at a different CVS with a Minute Clinic.

It’s a great store and pharmacy is wonderful. But why don’t they sell liquor like the others? They sell about 5 brands and that’s it. They need to sell Canadian club.

Nobody answers the phone and I’ve been on hold for over 45 mins. My prescription said it would be done after 5.30 pm and it’s now 7.30 and they are saying another 45 mins to be done. If you don’t mind spending 4 hours to get your script I guess go there.
