2 stars because at least it's clean.
Riddle me this, if the pawn store down the road pays people for their cds and dvds how is it that goodwill, who gets everything for free, charges twice the price? Side note; this goodwill posts what they pay their employees too, 11 dollars an hour, kind of disrespectful to pay so little, charge so much, and get 100% of the inventory for free. Shameful to do this during a recession.

Horrid customer service.

Everything here is so ridiculously overpriced. It's the only goodwill nearby and it's nearly impossible to find a good deal. I thought you were supposed to be able to get used clothes for cheap at thrift stores but I can buy brand new stuff at Walmart for cheaper! What a waste!

Check your price at finalizing purchase here they tag it one thing but scan differently when you get to the cash register and they like to talk smack about you snickering like a bunch of children side eyeing you for calling them out on their b.s. will not go back here the manager is a child and there cashier's are incapable of reading.. not just a disgruntled customer 4 items they tried to charge me almost 5 dollars more than what the tags had said

First of all i love this store I shop here all the time my problem though is the management. Always yelling at their employees and setting unnecessary policies. I saw so much employees walking out crying it's sad. Hopefully it gets new management.

It’s a nice store, but there’s not always the most popular styles. It’s definitely one of the more old school Goodwill’s, but they’ll have a few hidden gems.

This goodwill is very neatly arranged. Very clean. Seems like there’s always staff cleaning. Cashiers aren’t bad. This place has some really good hidden treasure. Never a bad experience whenever I go. I’m a huge thrifter!!

You can buy a new t shirt or tank brand new for $7 and that’s how much they price them here. A t shirt should be 1-3 $ pricing here is terrible

Most of the cashier ladies are very nice I'm honestly here to complain about six table chairs that they had and I wanted to buy two and they wouldn't let me do it they said all six had to be sold, even though there was no table to be found!!! It's probably not the biggest problem with the store but super frustrating

Hello , I shop at the Valpo goodwill a lot and spend quite a bit of money there ! I returned something recently and they gave me a store credit no one ever told me you had to use that in 30 days… it was for 48.15. This was about a month ago ! so today I went in to Goodwill spent over $100 went to use my store credit and she told me that there is nothing on it and if it’s older than 30 days than it is voided. Then she threw the card on the garbage. I wanted it back and she refused to give it back to me. I honestly don’t know if it was past 30 days either way the situation was handled very poorly and I am out of $48. I find that very ridiculous and frustrating.

I usually bring all my donations to this Goodwill. I will no longer donate here though. First, they don’t even help you unload your donations anymore. They just stood there as I unloaded a heavy glass end table by myself. I also donated a very pretty chandelier that they told me to put in a bin. They took that bin away and brought it back as I was unloading the glass table and told me that they don’t accept chandeliers. I took it put of the bin to put it back in my car and it was now broken. In addition, I checked the store out last week and saw that most of their items are insanely overpriced. Why would I buy an old picture that has clearly been used, for the same price as one that I could get at HomeGoods? Some very poor decisions are being made at this store and sadly it will affect the people that are supposed to benefit. You can do better!

Paid $120 for a dresser, it fell apart as the staff was taking it out of the building. Had to argue with the raccoon looking manager to get my money back, had to have her boss do the return. Then a customer tried handing them a computer printer and said, “I don’t want it to brake so I’ll just hand it to you.” That same manager said, “oh that’s fine, just throw it into the bin.” ??????
