Repeating mistakes have been happening here. I lost a receipt. Brought in the bank statement. I was the last customer in the store to be let out. Roll back the cameras, manager said the cameras don't work. I have proof of the items purchased,my daughter gotten a free balloon. I can't find my receipt. I tried returning it several times, and they can't find it in the system. I don't exist.Manager says their gonna look,but do they? The younger generation have no manners. Customer service is not in their vocabulary. The young cashier just looks at you like a deer in headlights. Customer is not always right!? We spend hard earned money to be treated disrespectfully? If the employees don't want to be there, then why be in customer service? Do you know your supposed to make people feel welcomed into the store!? Smile! And make eye contact, not look down at your phone. Be a helpful service. I just wanted to get my money back. At party city, if you loose your reciept, your so out of luck.

It shouldn't take a half hour to blow up a few balloons. Especially, when staff is standing around and talking when this could have been done in 10 minutes. Told me it would take 15 minutes. Have been waiting almost an hour. Quit wasting peoples time.

Can you teach the employees not to comment on peoples bodies? I’m literally 32 weeks pregnant buying stuff for my baby shower and your employee had the audacity to say “oh did you have the baby already?”. Like I’m already self conscious enough being a plus size woman that’s pregnant. I definitely look pregnant. Ruined my entire night. Thanks. Maybe her super thick glasses aren’t thick enough to see straight. @sshole.

to be honest, I was quiet petrified coming to this party city. me and my friends went to look at wigs and masks for an upcoming event, but everywhere we went this lady would pursue us with her cart. everytime we would pick something up she would be quick to snatch it out of our hands and urgently put it back. she followed us throughout the entire store and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. when we finally gave up and attempted to exit the store she chased us with her cart, resulting in her crashing into a giant spider man balloon display. highly disturbing and will not be returning again….

Absolutely horrendous experience, this elderly employee was chasing me and my friends around the store and every time I would touch something she would put it back immediately!! She followed us with her cart and did not give us a chance to breath. When me and my friend were going to leave the store she chased us with the cart out the door and ended up slamming into a display with Spider-Man on it….. very disappointed….

I looked online for a big bunch of balloons and it was $31.00 with one big balloon and several smaller balloons and it said it was in stock in the Valparaiso store. I went to the store and walked in and none of the employees even asked if I would like some help. A woman employee went to the back of the store and was back there chit chatting with another employee. I showed the picture to the male employee and he said that's only online and not in the store. But it said they were in stock in the store. Not once did he smile or be friendly. I went and found the big balloon I found online and took a package of 15 balloons up to the register and he asked if I wanted the balloons inflated. And I said yes and he said it was $1.50 to inflate them and I said each? And he said yes. I said forget it. I put those back and got single balloons. Not one time did he smile or was nice. He acted annoyed that he had to wait on me. I took my balloons and left. I went into the website again the next morning and there was the cluster of balloons I wanted and it said they were in stock in the store! I will not be going back to the Valparaiso store. I will stick with Hobart. Horrible customer service.

Went to the new location to have one balloon filled up. Terrible customer service. They charged $20 for the helium blowup and then used air. When asked why they did not blow it up with helium as I paid for, they said it could not be done. Then why would you charge me for helium? They did not have a response. The manager did not have a clue. I will not be going back.

Oct. 30th. Went to buy costume and seen the marshmallows they were a week expired! I told the cashier and she says they're a bit discounted. But you cannot sell expired food gross!

I found a lot of unique decorations at Party City. One of the women working there assisted me in finding the decorations that I needed to decorate my golf cart for a fun lake fest parade. She even said that anything we didn't use could be returned. I highly recommend this place for all your decorating needs including: birthday, graduation, anniversary, wedding, halloween, etc....even golf cart decorations.
