My family and I came in here last Thursday after leaving the Taco Bell by walmart for awful service(not friendly or helpful there what so ever) so imagine our surprise when we come to this one on Calumet Ave and have the absolute opposite experience here. We opted to order online via our phones rather than the kiosk because they were confusing and to be able to order what we wanted (found out we can still get the cravings box online!) They got our food done in very little time. They offered my kids some cinnamon twists basically as soon as we came in. And as we were leaving they also got a little treat. The employees were incredibly nice and it was a breath of fresh air, especially after the lack of service at the other Taco Bell. I don't like having to order via kiosks, however it seems this is a corporate decision and the employees cannot control it. If you need to pay with cash they can take you at the counter though. So basically if you want some Taco Bell and are in Valpo, come to this location!

When I walk in to get my breakfast, ,lunch or dinner and I see a sign that says i need to order my food from a computer and not a human being. I’m walking out the same door that I walked in.. call me old fashion but I’m not and will never pay for my food with a credit card and ill never order my food from a computer… as I was walking out the door I told 2 other folks walking in they were gonna have to order their food from the Kiosk they to turn around and left. It’s good to know that I’m not the only one that feels this way . I’ll go 2 blocks down and order my food from a human and pay cash at Wendy’s…… on a sidenote this Taco Bell seems to do this a lot. I think I may just stop going there all together since it’s always a crapshoot whether or not I have to walk out the door without food.

I went Inside to þlace an order for carry out and the dining area was clean and fully stocked. Food was fresh and warm and service was quick and welcoming.

Always takes a long time, you don't get acknowledged when you arrive. District managers need to go in and perform the job themselves for a week or so to remember what it's like to work the front lines. Employees are overworked for barely livable wages, look and act like they're imprisoned. There miserable and it shows in everything they do.

If you order via their app, there's a 60/40 chance you're missing items. Time and time again, I make the mistake of ordering for pickup, and at least 50% of the time, an item or multiple items is just missing. Does nobody check the receipt that's taped to the bag? The smallest amount of effort would avoid this issue, but they clearly don't care enough to bother.
