Disappointed...UPDATE TO STORE REPLY:I edited this again to offer a solution you didnt.To the owner,It seems you just see an angry customer. Either your not listening or dont care. Offering a free box afterwards is kinda insulting and doesn't fix the issue.Now, if i were a boss, (oh wait, i am) i try to find solutions:So i understand what your saying, however please understand this: i did call Amazon after that and the CS rep didn't have any knowledge about it. Maybe its just certain manufacturers.I follow the return instructions from the Amazon site. It doesn't matter who's right or wrong, you dont beat your customers over the head and force your opinions like that.Next time this happens maybe 'Offer your customers a FREE BOX' at the visit since after you scan the return its too late to go home and repackage.Just my humble opinion...ORIGINAL REVIEW:I was returning one of many items that came defective these days and the amazon return stated: Return in manufactures packaging".This item was all sealed in its box, and placed in a heaving shipping carboard box just as delivered, however it was covered in a really thin cellophane that just shreds as you open it, there is no saving some of them!The store clerk argued with me about the heavy cardboard box claiming it needed another cardboard box around it. "No, this is how it arrived at my house, i said." " Its already In its manufacture delivered shipping box!"Then a young fellow heard the conversation and preceded to tell me it needed some other box because it didn't have the bar code on it. I explained this was on the shredded cellophane that wasn't reusable.He demanded i not ship it because then the manufacture couldn't resell it, despite my retort that they put product on the shelves all the time with big yellow stickers and whatever else they do to add a new bar code should that be needed!I followed the amazon return instructions the best i could, but was publicly admonished by these people and was being forced to buy yet another box, which wouldn't even solve their argument!Now when i walk in, thoses who were there that day wont say hi, they shoot me a nasty look. Shame on you, your ego and pride got in the way of resolving an issue. This doesn't make you right, and shoving your beliefs down on customers is just wrong!

I have always gone to UPS on Cumberland Drive in Valparaiso Indiana. The employees are very kind, and will help in any way. I live 10 miles away, and that is the only UPS I go too. The Manager was helpful to me, and his employees as well, jumping in when its busy. I have also worked with UPS in my profession, and the drivers are amazing. Respecting packages, and not just tossing in the truck, as I have seen others.

I've been using this stores for years and I've finally gotten to the point were I'm tired of the employees treating me like I'm an idiot.In the last month my husband attempted to do an Amazon return (in original pristine packaging) and the UPS employee rejected it because the Amazon boxes are no longer up to UPS standards.This morning I attempted to return an Amazon Prime Wardrobe order. Amazon directed me to repackage in the 3 original boxes their merchandise came in. I did this. But the employee rejected it because Amazon only created one label for shipping. I actually think this was Amazon's error. But the employee treated me like I was stupid and kept telling me how I packaged it wrong, when all I did was follow the instructions I was given. Which I verified when I got back to my car.I will be using USPS and Kohls drop-off from now on!
