Perfect for fall mountain bike riding. Great views from the trails. Especially north of the lake.

I grew up going to this park so it's one I'm definitely fond of. There are several hiking and biking trails and they're all well marked. I haven't been to the pool in years. The lake is massive and you can rent paddle boats to take out with your family. There are several shelters available for renting and they've all been well maintained, lighting being updated recently in a few of them. My only negative review is the park has not been clearing the fallen trees very well and and it's almost like a fence of dead brush on either side of the trails where they've just pushed the debris to the side.
Playground: There are several playgrounds through the park
Toilets: Outhouse style restrooms
Dog-friendliness: The park is dog friendly
Picnic area: There are picking areas by the lake, near playgrounds, and at the dam.

What a absolutely gorgeous, natural park! Stopped here unexpectedly, and WOW, I was in heaven..the Fall foliage was beautiful! Peaceful, clean, and the park offers so much. Camping, many hiking trails, swimming, and so much more. Definitely want to spend more time here..

Beautiful and spacious sites. Not very level and a lot of trees. Very tight roads in some spots. One of our go to spots. Highly recommend if you are looking to do some basic hiking or sitting by the fire.
Toilets: Pretty clean

Visited in October to walk some trails as the leaves were turning. We walked the "walking" trails, but there are also numerous "mountain bike" trails. While we didn't use it, there is a nice pool with a couple of slides. Multiple camp sites are also available. Nice lake for kayaking or canoeing.

The camp sites are spacious. Most are well shaded. Some are a little "low" so if it has been raining loop b and loop c can be very muddy and wet. Loop a is on a little higher ground. The hiking trails are easily accessible from the campgrounds. We really loved that. The trails are nice. They are not quite as picturesque as Brown Co, or Spring Mill, but they have lovely wildflowers. The lake is quite pretty. It is great for kayaking. We did not fish, but many people were out there. The pool was closed, but it looks pretty standard. Overall it was a great weekend adventure.

Playground: Small but fun and safe.
Toilets: Plenty of restrooms and showers. They even have separate individual shower rooms!
Picnic area: There are many sprinkled around this giant park. Some small, some huge. Something for every occasion. Very quiet and great nature experience!

My dog and I enjoyed hiking the trails here. Facilities were clean and staff were friendly. I didn't camp, but the campground was mostly full.

We camped in loop B 4 days. The campground is very well kept. Fully paved roads and clean sites. Each site in loop B has a blacktopped pad and the lots are spacious side to side. If you are in the middle, you do have very close proximity to your neighbor behind you. The bathrooms that we visited were clean with hot water.
The road coming into the park is narrow. Our camper is smaller than most but luckily we did not pass another camper going in or coming out.
As the weekend was coming most campsites were decorating for the trick or treat night. We saw and talked to some wonderful people who had been coming for years for this event. Overall we had a great time.
