Absolutely beautiful! In mid-October the woods were almost entirely yellow. There are a few hills that may be difficult if you have bad knees but I think the average walker would have little difficulty on the trail.Depending on the trail you take (they're all intertwined, like horseshoes off the main Tulip Trail) there are a couple bridges over the little creek and some paths right on the edge of a hill with no railing (I wouldn't recommend taking small kids).I saw only 4 other people in the 3 hrs I was there (it's only 2.4 miles total - I just stopped for a lot of photos!).There are areas you can sit that would be nice for group activities (by the parking lot & there was one spot that had a little podium and a few rows of benches). There is an environmental science center that I'm assuming is for student visits.I met the caretaker who lives on site. It is well taken care of and I will be back!Restrooms: No restrooms unless the environmental science building is open.Picnic area: Several picnic tables would allow for groups, maybe 20 people. Call before to make sure there will be room

A really nice woodland walk, with intersections on a stream that were great for giving my dog a place to drink water. Definitely on the primitive side but that’s what I came for! It was super quiet. We saw a deer, hawk, ground squirrels, and lots of little frogs in the frog pond. The trails would be great for kids, or anyone who doesn’t want to worry about tripping over lots of roots and rocks. Also there’s about .3-.4 mile paved trail. I took a picture of the trail at the parking area and used that as a guide as I explored. Will definitely come back!

Pretty walk, not spectacular, woods and more woods but I like woods. Some of the path was sidewalk quality, some marked paths overgrown. Bridges are kinda dicey. I liked it, l'll go again.

My family and I loved it! To bad the schools don't come out here more often. I remember going alot in school and my son who is going into the 7th grade hasn't been here till we brought him. We had such a great time! I recomend this place for anyome who wants to go on nature walks. Just make sure you bring bug spray and watch out for poison ivy! Lol
