Saw Dr. S today. I drove from 45 minutes away to see her due to a recommendation from someone. This was the most thorough exam I’ve ever had. She was super professional and knowledgeable. She explained everything to me in detail and gave me recommendations.

I have been a patient of Family Optometry, the Marion office, for three years. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Dale at the Wabash office. I have nothing but high praise for him and all of the amazing staff. If you are in need of an eye exam Family Optometry should be your first choice!

Extremely good experience here. Was checked in quickly, and called back right at my scheduled exam at 0900. Staff was extremely welcoming and courteous. Dr. Derby was very professional and thorough with his exam, and I got some help choosing glasses afterwards. In all, with the exam, choosing glasses, paying, etc. the entire process took 45 minutes. I would recommend this location to anyone. Thanks again for a great experience Family Optometry!

If you're paying cash, a comprehensive eye exam (for glasses) is $78, which is fairly reasonable compared to others in the area. The downside though is that they were booked 6 weeks out! And since I'm traveling, I just don't have time for that.

This is my first eye doctor I guess u could say! I’ve been long over due for glasses for years now but I had no insurance... finally now have my first set of glasses which I love by the way! I love all the staff here they are all very helpful, kind, welcoming and just make u feel right at home every time u walk thru the door!! The only reason I did 4 out of 5 stars is bc of the very long wait to get my glasses but that was mostly not their fault bc they had to wait for lions club to approve paying for them but then some how I thought I was waiting to hear from them and come to find out one of the docs did not put the order in or something like that... So they had to fast track them to makeup for it! But overall I am satisfied with my new eye doctor and all the staff!! I’ll be sticking with them as long as they will let me!! Lol I would definitely recommend family optometry too any of my family and friends or just anyone!!!

This place is a joke. Went in on a Thursday. They told me and my 6 year old he needs to go to s specialist and he may have to have surgery. Who says that go a 6 year old. Then when they cant get threw they tell me they will call me shortly. Nothing all day. Nothing Friday. I call them Monday twice. Finally they tell me they have no idea they will call to set it up and call me back in a few minutes. Tuesday morning they finally call to let me know the specialist will call me.

We LOVE Family Optometry!! My daughter recently decided she wanted to get contacts and we have been so very impressed with the whole process with their office!! Valerie is absolutely the best!! She was so kind, reassuring, and patient as my daughter spent hours trying to get them in and out of her eyes- but with encouragement from Valerie she was able to get it and LOVES them!! Thank you all for being so kind and welcoming every time we come through the door!
