The process of building with TK-St Leon was phenomenal from the start. Our family had been attempting to work with a custom builder for years and never came back satisfied. Within the first day of meeting with Blake, we were able to begin the development and design of our home. Although you work with the plans set by TK, the customization and options make it seem like an endless opportunity to build something unique. If we had questions or sought guidance, Blake was always quick to respond with an answer.Following the design process and moving into the building process, Bob and his teams were excellent. They remained on time (ahead of schedule mostly) and kept us informed of each milestone along the way. Anytime we had questions, he would make sure we had an answer and continued satisfied. The quality and craftsmanship of the build are wonderful. The professionalism, techniques, and knowledge of the TK-St Leon teams made the building process exciting and much less stressful than we could have ever imagined. We highly recommend working with TK to build your home!!

We started our construction process at the St. Leon models. Blake and Crystal were very accommodating with the necessary information in the building process. No pressure sales, helpful with choosing the available options. Construction site management was exceptional, attention to details were never overlooked. Dave and Derick put any of our concerns at ease. Gunter and Little excavating were the best people to work with, top quality work.Service: Home building

I would recommend TK to anyone searching for a homebuilder. From start to finish their staff was friendly, courteous and professional. They listened to what we wanted in a new home and made recommendations accordingly. They addressed our questions and concerns in a prompt and timely matter. We received updates from the Project Manager with a timeline, if not daily then weekly. If we had a question, by the time I could text him, he more than likely had already answered the question in his daily/weekly update. Thank you TK Staff.Service: Home building

Pleased with the experience I had with TK. Both Blake and Kevin were prompt in their communication and were helpful in modifying our blueprints so that our home could be wheelchair accessible. The entire build process was lengthy but I am not sure that it was entirely TK’s fault as we chose to build during a pandemic and some supplies were hard to obtain. We love our home, and are happy with our decision to go with TK.Services: Home building

My experience was pleasant and exciting. Blake was so patient with me as I would show up randomly with a new idea or change to my Floorplan. Before signing my contract a meeting was held explaining what to expect. Although others were involved, from that point on I was kept informed by the Project Manager, Bob Weaver. I was updated regularly with my progress and advised of any material delays. I couldn't possibly say enough good about TK Constructors. They used quality materials and even got me in my home ahead of schedule for the Holidays.Service: Country home building

Looking for someone to build my new home on some vacant property and was looking at their models and floor plans. Very helpful, great place to find information, and helpful staff.

Went in for a follow up meeting expecting to make the last few changes to our home and sign a contract only to find out there was over $40k missing from the estimate. There was no apology for missing this, no accommodations made for the inconvenience, no follow up calls or emails. They obviously do not care they lost our business. Extremely disappointed in their customer service.

TK is worst company I ever dealt with. Within the U.S I've lived and worked in three different states with people of all walks of life (civilians, military, educators, students, religious, businessmen...). I bought some houses as of a late and I decided to build a new construction for investment property. I shopped around and found out the TK Constructors was the most affordable one. I decided to sign with them forgetting the saying that "You get what you pay for". From the beginning they were horrible, unfriendly, unethical and unprofessional. The salesperson in the Saint Leon Model Center basically never greeted me in the hundred emails and texts we exchanged. They made some false advertisements in their websites about getting permits for their customers and they put the opposite in the contract. I confronted them, they edited and updated the wording on their website (I have the screenshots of both websites. I complained one single time about the contradictory information I was getting from the salesperson, the VP of Sale asked the regional director to void my contract after they asked me to close a loan with a bank, pay for land surveying and cut the trees on my lot on my own expenses. After all those expenses, they brazenly and immorally decided to back out of the contract because I dare complaining one single time about the salesperson. Below is the timeline of nightmare with TK Constructors: 12/10/2020: I went to the TK Saint Leon Model Center in West Harrison, IN, they quoted for a Nantucket Model, 12/29/2020: I went there and deposit my earnest money. 12/31/2021: I signed the contract with TK by "DocuSign" 01/31/2021: Loan was approved, and estimate sent to me by Merchant National Bank. 02/23/2021: TK asked me to order a survey. 03/05/2021: The bank emailed and said they had everything they need to close the loan on March 18, TK told me to wait until after pre-construction meeting. Then the bank re-schedule the closing on March 31. 03/10/2021: Land surveying is completed by Phoenix Survey & Engineering 03/16/2021: I ordered an electric pole from Duke energy for the lot on TK's recommendation. 03/24/2021: TK team production came to the lot for the first time to check the land surveying and the stake out. They also advised my cut to some of my neighbor's trees that were getting on my land which I did on my own expenses. 03/30/2021: Preconstruction meeting at the model center in West Harrison, where finalized everything in the Addendum. During that meeting they told any change made from now on will cost me $150/item. They also told me they will get the zoning and building permits in about two weeks. They also give me their blessing to close the loan with the bank on March 31. Were present at the meeting: the salesperson, the regional director, the team production superintendent, my brother in-law, and myself 03/31/2021: Close the loan with MNB after meeting with TK team production on March 30. 04/07/2021: TK salesperson texted me and said he had everything he needed to apply for zoning and building permits. 04/15/2021: I reached out for updates, he told me he already mailed the zoning application plans, and lot design, and he will do the building permit next. 04/21/2021: I reached out for updates, the salesperson told me he will call the county tomorrow for the zoning permit and will also start applying for the building permit. 04/28/2021: I reached out for updates, the salesperson told me to call the county on my own, and the permits are my responsibility. He also asked me to pay some tap fees which are already on the contract in the allowance part. Their office should cut a check and pay for that as it's on the loan already. 04/28/2021: I called the regional director and emailed the corporate office about the confusion I was getting from the salesperson. The regional director called a meeting at the model center to supposedly clear the air and redefine the expectations from both parties. 04/30/2021: Meeting at the Saint Leon model center. We are in the final stages of building with TK in Butler County, Oh. I truly feel that if we had a different production manager that communicated with us and did not talk down to my husband and I it would have been a better experience. In a two week time period numerous messages and text were left for the production manager and not one was replied to. Once I involved “the office” as he calls it, he called me immediately and said that I had been “a bad bad girl” and I should never involve the office. What choice did I have? The beginning of the process was nice and the majority of the subs that TK uses are great, but they really need to evaluate their production managers. That is truly the only reason why I would never recommend TK to anyone. I feel completely disrespected by the production manager every single time I have to be in contact with him. In TK’s defense I did not call to ask for a different production manager, however I felt that I couldn’t, and that was my fault, but no “customer” should ever have to feel the way this guy made me and my husband feel.

In the beginning when choosing our floor plan and all the insides, it was great! After the building process started and our salesman was out of the picture, was terrible. No communication, promises broken, and just straight up terrible service from Bill Davenport. We thought the regional manager was going to help take care of us, (after we paid the final amount) but here we are 3 months in our new home and it still needs everything fixed that was addressed on our final walk through.
