Did not start out on the right foot with this business I showed up yesterday for an appointment and found out that it was not going to happen because they are very busy. So reschedule for today and showed up as planned and very pleased with the energy enthusiasm and service quality of the crew. I think this is my new home for car repair!

Update:
The original post was written around noon on May 7th with some edit later. I got the car back in the afternoon. They did not change the transmission filter. I showed the manager the video that the transmission filter was outside the transmission, not inside. He told me there was a split of 2005 Acura MDX (yes, the car is old but has been surprisingly reliable in the seven years I drove it) and my car did not have an external transmission filter. Since I am not knowledgeable about cars, I did not know what to believe.
I told the manager I needed to test drive the car for a few days and he agreed. I check the coolant and transmission fluid. They look like to be in right color. I drove about 20 miles so far. The jerking was less frequent and less hard, but I could still feel the jerking every now and then. There was no jerking before the underbody work. So either they did not flush out all the coolant contaminating the transmission or damage to the transmission already done, or both. I plan to park the car in the driveway to see whether the leak was fixed (the garage floor is still covered with leaked coolant/transmission fluid).
I start to think I should not pay for the replacement of the radiator and the flushes of the cooling system and transmission. Not only that it was their tech that damaged the systems and caused the problems, they did not seem to have completely fixed it. I had hoped the car would last until my son graduates from college, now I am very doubtful. I probably need to start budgeting for a replacement.
To be fair, I had good experience with this store before. They did decent job and the prices were reasonable. It was run especially well when a guy named Kagan (sounds like this) was the manager. But this time, it's not good.
Update 5/8
I did not see any leaking on the driveway. However, this morning, the car shifts harder than yesterday. It thuds rather than jerks.
Update 5/8 afternoon
I did not notice leaking this morning. However, when I got off work and came home, I noticed a few wet spots where the front of my car was last night while the rest of driveway was bone dry. I only backed away the car and looked at the driveway from inside the car this morning and the lighting was not good. To confirm leaking, I parked the car in another area of the driveway and waited for about 30 min. No surprise, a few new wet spots showed up where the radiator was. I didn't use car AC today. I got down the pavement and looked under the car. It was wet and oily but not as oily as when I saw it when the car was in CarX when the second tech showed me the underbody. I will continue to observe a few more days to determine whether the leaking was the leftover from the original damaged radiator (coolant/trans fluid mixture) or new.
Update 5/9
This morning, I noticed a few new wet spots on the driveway. The location was behind the radiator, not right under the radiator. The spots were smaller than yesterday's. The trans still thuds. I tried to esae off the gas when I feel it is about to shift so it happens less often. It started raining mid morning. When I came back from a dental appointment around 11:40 am, the spots were disappearing with some oily stuff on the top.
Update 6/6/2024
I discussed with the manager and stated that the first technician damaged my radiator and the transmission. I asked for a discount equal to half of the labor cost for the control arm/alignment work (total labor was a little over $900). He argued a little but ended up saying he would talk to his boss and check the video (he said only the boss has access to the surveillance video in the store). A few days later, he called and offered to take off the charge of radiator cost (only the part (a little over $300, not the labor). I told him that I didn't think it was fair but I did not want to spend more time on this. So I went last Saturday and paid the bill. The manager

If I could give Car-x less than one star, I would because they are a scam. Don't waste your time or money here; you will only leave with more problems than you started with.
Some back story:
Nine months ago, I came in to have my motor mount and transmission mount replaced. It took a total of 12 days for them to complete the job. They told me that the first shipment that had the parts was lost, then they forgot to order the transmission mount. It took a total of three shipments to get everything that they needed, despite the parts being common and easy to find. Lastly, they overcharged me by quite a lot. The total part cost can be anywhere from $200 to $300; they charged me $2,000. My warranty covered a majority of the cost, but they still wanted me to pay for the MSPR difference. When I asked for documentation for all of the services, they struggled to come up with a list. It took them 20 minutes of sifting through hand written sticky notes to make an itemized list. They are unorganized and unprofessional.
Now 9 months later, I have had the same issue of my engine shaking when idle. I went to a different repair shop, and they said that 2 out of the 3 motor mounts need to be replaced. It has only been 9 months since car-x's repair; engine mounts are supposed to be good for 5 to 7 years. The second shop said that car-x either: did not replace the motor mount, used cheap parts, or did not install it properly. I called car-x and they said "we will fix it for free and we'll go ahead and order the parts. Bring it in first thing next week, and we will do the repairs."
Tuesday rolls around and I drop off my car. First thing they say to me, we can't look at it today but we'll get it done by tomorrow. So I call on Wednesday asking if my car is ready. The manager says, "no it slipped my mind. The dealership hasn't called us back, so we don't have the parts." It is now Thursday. I call them and get the same explanation that they don't have the parts they were supposed to order a week ago. My patience had reached its limit, so I went ahead and picked my car up from them. They never did the repair; my car was still in the same parking spot three days later. I called customer service and left a complaint. That did nothing.
I will make it my personal mission to discourage anyone I know from going to Car-X. Do not waste your time, money, or patience on this excuse of a business. You will leave with way more problems than what you started with.
Attached is a picture of the transmission mount that they supposedly replaced 9 months ago. The rubber is cracking and falling apart; this was causing my engine to shake. Probably causing more damage to the engine.
