This place is unreliable. I called them because I was having issues with my laptop and they said they'd set up a time to meet me at their old location on campus and pick up my laptop to be repaired. They texted me about setting up a time, and I told them my availability, and never heard anything back. This was very stressful for me as a college student who depends on their laptop, and this was the middle of midterms. This did nothing but increase my level of anxiety and I never heard back, when I was trying my hardest to get my laptop repaired as quickly as possible.

We went here to try to repair a friend's laptop. The person did a quick diagnosis and gave his quote. They let you keep your device there and decode if you want to go ahead with the repair as well which is good. They can get parts and do the repair relatively quickly. However, they dont give receipts which seemed a little sketchy. Although apparently there is a good reason for it (I dont know what that is)

I have a cheaper Chromebook, it is light weight and simple to use for school. My Chromebook was not turning on so I searched on YouTube and discovered that I needed to unplug the battery connection from the motherboard. The Chromebook started working again until the hinges on the side fell off because of a loose screw. I went into their shop and it took them maybe 30 seconds to attach the hinge back into place. I did all the labor of finding a new screw and putting the screw back into the correct place. He still charged me $22.50 when the work took 30 seconds and I did most of the work. I thought it was a little unreasonable and instead of prioritizing my computer, the owner just told me to throw the Chromebook away and buy one of their used laptop for $150. Not overly satisfied with their work but I am glad it is working again.

Fantastic experience. Great Customer Service! The staff was honest and upfront about cost and time it would take to repair my daughter's laptop. They got the work done quickly and at very reasonable cost.

TL;DR: Left my laptop here for two and a half months, and they gave it back in less working order than when I dropped it off. They don't call you about anything, you have to call them. Do not take anything here.

My cat chewed through the USB cable on my keyboard. I brought it here and they cut off the damaged portion and re-soldered it to the plug.

Bad experience! My Mac went on a black screen issue and was fixed there, the first time I came there spending $45 for consultation, nothing fixed! Asking me to pay more $630.23 (plus tax) to order a new retina LCD screen to replace the old one. After waiting for a whole week, they didn't inform me that the new LCD had arrived until I call them on the Monday of the following week. The most weird thing is that they ordered a space-grey color LCD but my original one is silver color. The new assembling Mac looks really weird! At the end, they just try to charge me another $45 service fee for installation. After I told them I've paid that fee when I visited them in the first time , they cancelled that fee. Yes, they fix the problem, but I think they are not doing well and carefully. Well, maybe not perfect to make me feel good

I have shopped with Computers by Campus since my freshman year at Purdue University and have been constantly delighted by their professionalism, expertise, excellent price points, and great customer service. The shop's staff are extremely great and I have never had a problem with them since August 2003. In fact, I still shop with them today regardless of where I am currently living in the U.S.
