“This is a wonderful little boutique in the heart of the historic upper downtown of Lafayette. If you haven't been to downtown Lafayette, you really should check it out. So many really cool shops, restaurants and bars. This shop offers so many nice and unique things to see. They also have a huge selection of baby clothes and accessories. The staff makes everybody feel welcome and they offered to wrapped the gift I bought. The customer service was unbelievable. You have to check it out”
“I just started visiting Gretel's in the past year because my office is near the shop. I wish I had known years ago what a wonderful shop it is! Gretel's offers a wide variety of quality gifts: jewelry, tea, puzzles, birdhouses, purses, decor, clothing, and more. Recently, I was looking for a specific flavor from Republic of Tea and was told Gretel's could order if for me if I couldn't find it at other local shops. Sure enough, I couldn't find it so I called Gretel's and they ordered it for me and let me know as soon as it arrived (bonus, the price was less than I'd have paid had I ordered directly from the website). Personalized service like that seems to be lacking these days and I so appreciated their willingness to make the extra effort for me. Gretel's has become my favorite gift shop, one I will return to frequently!”
