So far, we are able to get availability for boarding mostly on weekends, and even during long weekends.Their Playgroup assessment and Playgroup activities are nice, where our pet is monitored always with a staff, and they are allowed to play with dogs only with their temperament levels.Friendly staff, and mostly interactive. Haven't had any issues so far. Will definitely use them for Boarding, day care and Playgroup activities.

I enrolled my furry little one in the Klondike Canine Academy before the start of the pandemic and when he was a puppy. I had him enrolled in courses until the situation did not allow for him to participate. I enrolled him in courses there because they came highly recommend from a friend and a Purdue professor.Layla and Emily are excellent instructors. They are also very kind, patient, and very helpful in helping pet parents like me understand and interact with our furry little children in a more meaningful manner. I believe the training my little one and I received through their courses gave him a solid foundation to be good, kind, loving, and obedient doggie citizen. The courses also empowered me to have the most pleasant and efficient communication and training interactions with my furry log/loaf, from which I still benefit to this day.I highly recommend, if you have a puppy and can enroll him/her in their puppy obedience course that you do. It is worth every penny and will help you have a more calm and solid relationship with your furry little (or big) one(s).

Your puppy socialization class is the best I’ve ever been to - and I’ve been a dog trainer over 20 years. I love the ongoing schedule and the ages allowed. Your knowledgeable trainers were spot on in helping my pup learn how not to be a bully to other pups. Bug and I can’t thank you enough for the perfect start to his training.

It's been years since I boarded my dogs at this place, but I decided to write about my experience so others might avoid Klondike Kennels. I was unable to get at an appointment at our regular kennel, so I decided to try this one.Typically, my dogs stay in a suite. Klondike did not have suites, but told me they could put the dogs alone in a small room off of the reception room. I agreed that this would be ok.However, when I returned to pick them up, they were not alone in the room. They had been put into an x-pen in that room, with another dog housed in a crate in the same room. My dogs were at the time very young, strong, active whippets that could have been seriously injured while left unattended in that enclosure. Had I been asked, I never would have allowed them to be kept in that manner. To make matters (much) worse, when I arrived, there was no one at the reception desk. I called out, and no one answered. I walked to the room my dogs were in, and the door was unlocked! So literally anyone could have walked in and taken my dogs! I took them outside, then hung around until an employee finally showed up.Also, they left the dogs' custom made collars hanging on their leashes in the room, and the collars were chewed up and destroyed. They acted like that was no big deal, and offered to pay for the collars, which I refused. The did not offer an apology for not keeping my dogs secure. This experience was absolutely appalling. Do NOT board here!

I had to board my dog for a day because I was unable to let her out during the day. The staff was super helpful and understanding as my dog just had surgery and was on an exercise restriction. They were all very nice and it is connected to a vet clinic which gave me peace of mind. The facility was very clean!

Dog grooming was terrible. My dog was not bathed. Her face was greasy and tear stained. Anal glands were not expressed, and haircut was patchy. She left a white powder on my seat, so maybe she was dry shampooed. Her eyes were bloodshot after grooming, and I don't know why. Was she sedated without my knowledge, or was dry shampoo sprayed in her eyes? I was not informed at drop off that they were closed from noon until 3pm, so when I was called to pick up the dog (while I was in class), it was already 11:25, and there was no hope of picking her up until after 3. She was not herself when I picked her up for the rest of the night.
