Service is painfully slow. Often you are told to come back 24 hours or as much as a week later to pick up your medication. When you come back you still have to wait as it’s still not ready. Sometimes you have to come back three different times before the medication is ready. No one is friendly. Staff acts confused, tired, and frustrated. This includes pharmacists as well as techs. Often yo I will stand in line for as long as 45 minutes waiting and waiting and waiting. This would be understandable if it were on a rare occasion, sadly this is the norm. So if you think you can run in real quick and get your meds, think again.

Always receive great service for refilling medication as well as immunization shots and vaccines. Meijer's West Lafayette is my preferred pharmacy.

Bad service. Slow. Employees make a lot of mistakes. Hannah McDowell was the pharmacist and she runs a sad business.

while the service there is usually top notch, today they told me they didn't have my prescription and then billed my insurance anyway.. leaving me in limbo for 2 hours while my alternative pharmacy tried to fill it for me... I'm hungry and still haven't gotten my meds yet.

staff is rude and unpleasant. They do not stock many medicines so you might have to wait a week to get a prescription filled. Had better service at an auto parts store! Choose another pharmacy.

They apparently don't fill scripts even though you have a legit paper script with the practitioner's waiver information on file. They won't tell you though, they tell you to wait and they want you to spend money shopping while you are waiting and then when you inquire about your script over an hour later, that's when they hit you with the fact they will not fill the script.

The only pharmacy that I have ever been to where I have never had an issue of some kind, and I have been here numerous times. All of the people there are always willing to help and are always friendly. Pharmacist Ashley goes above and beyond to help customers and answer questions.

This pharmacy is always taking forever to fill meds. I will be looking for a new pharmacy soon.

I love Meijer Pharmacy. If it were up to the pharmacy only, I'd give them 5 stars in a heartbeat. I've had 2 different pharmacists here that have given me vital information the doctors couldn't even give me. The people are awesome. It's the automated system they use that is terrible. I will never use their automated system again. Only call in and talk to a real person to get the service you need. Apparently if you use the automated system, it ships from a warehouse, whether the store has it in stock or not. I went today to pick up a prescription that I had renewed by phone two days ago. The text I got two days ago told me it would be available today. Well apparently it wouldn't be ready until next week because of how the system works. Anyways, long story short, I was still able to pick it up today because they had the meds in stock and processed it "locally." But that wasn't such a big deal as an inconvenience. The frustrating thing was that when we went to pick up the monthly prescription, they tried giving us a different prescription that had been automatically renewed for me. One was filled locally, and one was filled through the warehouse. This is a no refill prescription that I have been on for 12 days already. First, why did it take 12 day for the warehouse to fill this prescription, and second, why am I getting a prescription filled twice that isn't meant for refills? I'm just saying this could have been an insurance nightmare if we were not aware of what I am taking and noticed the pills in the bottle did not match what I'm supposed to take. It makes me quite worried how often this is happening to other people too. The automated system is supposed to make things hassle free, but it is actually taking more time from me and the pharmacists who have to go back and fix the mistake made.

Terrible rollout of vaccines for educators. A coworker told me that Meijer had vaccines for educators and told me to call. I called more than half a dozen times and no one answered. I then followed the recording's instructions and signed up online. And of course, never heard from Meijer since then. A few days later I found out that other coworkers somehow got vaccine appointments by calling (many, many time, according to them). All in all a terrible implementation and rollout. And certainly doesn't make me feel confident about Meijer's handling of vaccines.

If you are coming here to drop off or pick up, it’s going to take forever. it has not happened once, but multiple times. They told prescriptions will be ready in 5 minutes, it took 1.15 hours. Flu shot, its going to take 1 to 2 hours easy.

They always seem to get my health insurance messed up! So I get upset because I have to take my medication on a daily basis.

The line at the pharmacy is always so slow to move. I've never been impressed with the pharmacists, the techs are fine. They are often out of medications and often take unnecessary days to fill. The text messaging system is not accurate and rather annoying. If they weren't cheaper than Walgreens or CVS I wouldn't go here.
