Meijer is a family-owned, one-stop shop in West Lafayette, offering great food, great brands, and great value. It is described as the best supermarket and a great store with a lot of good deals, great prices, and many clearance items. The store is very clean and well-organized, featuring the freshest produce, a very nice bakery, quality meats, and a great selection across 40+ departments. The staff is friendly, though some customers would like more interaction on the sales floor. A common criticism is that the restrooms are often not clean. Overall, it is considered a perfect store for all homecoming and tailgating needs.
Great store, but not a fan of folks at the self checkout giving you side eye while they stand there talking to their friend at the register beside me. I just wanna get my stuff and go. No need for all of that…
