“I can’t say enough good things about Purdue Small Animal Hospital and the care they have given my dog, Ollie. He has been going there since he was a puppy and, unfortunately, has become familiar with quite a few departments over the years!
When Ollie was diagnosed with a complicated GI disorder and it felt like we were running out of options, Dr. Woolcock never gave up on him and kept working to find something that would help. Purdue was also there when Ollie needed surgery for an intestinal obstruction, and Dr. Woolcock even came to visit him while he was hospitalized.
The dermatology department has also cared for Ollie through several issues over the years. They have always been wonderful to work with, and Ollie’s unusual cases even led to him being part of two case studies.
Unfortunately, Ollie is now a patient with oncology as well, and Dr. Shaevitz, Dr. Midkiff, and the entire oncology team have been wonderful. They went the extra step of running additional testing to be certain of his specific type of lymphoma so they could give him the right treatment.
I can only speak for our experience, but after many years and several departments at Purdue, I couldn’t speak more highly of them. I truly feel like the people there care about Ollie, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything they have done for him.”
