They literally gave me my Rx in a Ziploc bag. Without any of the safety advisories, additional materials that come with the Rx, and DEFINITELY not in a tamper-proof container! Literally unbelievable.
Edit to update: Still a one-star review. After this, I had to make another trip to the pharmacy to get my prescription corrected. I spoke to the pharmacist, who was very helpful and assured me she would make a note on my file. So, I decided to give this pharmacy another chance. When I refilled my Rx online this time, I *specifically requested* in writing the Rx in the original box, with the additional materials (reminder stickers, safety info) because I use those. And, lo and behold...No box, no additional materials, and another definitely not tamper-proof Ziploc bag!!!
So once again I had to make another trip and I spoke to someone, who did confirm that there was a note on my file to that regard. So, this is a pharmacy that ignores the pharmacist's notes and ignores the patient' notes. That is a HUGE liability. I am allergic to certain medications. This was just a matter of convenience, but this could have been a far more severe issue depending on what these people decided to ignore.
I'm writing all this because this really is an unsafe pharmacy and I want others to be aware that the people filling your Rx are willfully ignoring both the pharmacist and the patient.

I have been trying to contact the pharmacy by phone to follow-up on a script. An artificial robot answers and finally forwards my call to the pharmacy. After a few seconds, I am told to please wait because pharmacy is helping other customers. 5-10 seconds later my call is dropped. This has happened repeatedly. How rude. Just keep my call on hold. Obviously no one is taking calls.

Worst pharmacy service I have ever had. Need better check-in protocols for vaccinations. One person to check in patients with scheduled appointments every 15 minutes is supposed to simultaneously register all walk-ins. Waited 25 minutes just to check in. Waited another hour and never got the vaccines. Total wait over an hour and 20 minutes before I just left. Patients all out of order according to appointments and place in line. So disorganized and incompetent. A free for all in tight quarters where sick people come.

EXCELLENT PHARMACY MANAGER!!! We were in town for our son at college who needed a prescription quickly. The dr. originally sent it to the Purdue Pharmacy but it was closed on Saturday when we got there. We asked the doctor to change it to Walgreens. The pharmacy manager took the time to not only fill the prescription quickly, but also called Purdue Pharmacy the following Monday to have them reverse the transaction so he could put it through to our insurance. He then refunded me the difference of what I paid, versus what I owed after the insurance paid. VERY VERY GOOD customer service!! I was very impressed! He was also very pleasant! Couldn't have asked for better service!

I have been with this pharmacy for many years Loved the people in the pharmacy area.Seems like there are all new employees. One person left me on hold for fifteen minutes over a simple question about a prescription. I called them and told them to NOT refill one of my prescriptions as I was no longer taking it and the doctor was putting me on a new prescription. They filled it anyway....So now I have a useless prescription to dispose of.?.I moved and have a pharmacy a block and 1/2 away from me but I drove 22 miles for 4 years b ebecuse I loved the pharmacy staff.I switched pharmacies today...I will still shop at Walvreens.I would NOT recommend this place to for prescription sanyone I know now.I am very disappointed.

In these trying times of Covid19, I was trying to get my mom's next 90-day supply of scrips to her in Assisted Living in Westminster. Pharmacist Dan could not have been more helpful. He took charge and had it all filled, approved by insurance, coordinated, and delivered to her / the nurses at Westminster. Huge relief, and kudos to Caring Pharmacist Dan!

I initially had the problem with this pharmacy giving me a different pill than I was prescribed and not telling me about it. They put a note on my file to get it right the next time. That was 4 months ago. Every month since then I have gone to the store, found they gave me the wrong pill again even though my patient profile specifically lists the pill I needed, and had to return the following day because they needed to order my pill. If they weren't the only pharmacy that would order it for me I'd drop them in a heartbeat. I dread my once a month fiasco just to get my prescription with them.
