“I had such an incredibly pleasant experience with the whole staff and especially Dr. Khan at International Family Medicine and Urgent Care!
I was on a trip from Oregon and walked in for an urgent care appointment with Dr. Khan, experiencing an extremely painful issue. I was immediately helped by their friendly staff, and they worked out my insurance over the phone to be seen asap.
I was seen by Dr. Khan within minutes of intake, and he went right to work, helping me immensely with my pain, explaining everything that was going on very thoroughly, and assuring me things will get better with the coarse of self-care and meds he prescribed me.
This was by far the most compassionate, caring, and effective urgent care visits I've ever had.
I highly reccomend Dr. Khan and his team if you're in need of any health care in the area!

I was instructed to arrive 15 minutes early for my new patient appointment to complete paperwork. I arrived on time, but no paperwork was provided. When I inquired, the receptionist simply replied, “Not for Sabeeh.” I asked for clarification and was met with a shrug, which didn’t inspire much confidence at the start of my visit.

Thankfully, things improved from there. I waited only a short time in a clean and welcoming waiting area. Once in the exam room, the provider was thorough and spent a generous amount of time with me — a rare experience in today’s healthcare environment. This level of attentiveness was one of the main reasons I chose Riverview Health and drove 35 minutes to be seen there.

After the appointment, the nurse drew my labs right in the exam room and successfully accessed a challenging vein on the first try — a small but meaningful win.

However, the main reason for my visit was to initiate the process of obtaining diabetes and other essential medications through the drug manufacturers’ Patient Assistance Programs. I confirmed in advance with the triage nurse that this was a routine service they could provide. Unfortunately, three days later, the practice still appears unfamiliar with the process. Had I known this would be the case, I would have sought care elsewhere.

They are working on it, though. And I sincerely hope the team can resolve this soon, as the provider and staff otherwise exceeded expectations and have the potential to offer truly excellent care.”

“I visited for the first time today along with my husband for an intake/annual physical with Dr. Forney for both of us. She was so kind to both of us, I really felt like she cared about our health and was very respectful and attentive at all times. The front desk receptionists were kind and helpful as well, and the nurse who took our blood was accommodating to my requests of laying down with an ice pack to help with my needlephobia. Overall I would definitely recommend.”
