I was so upset today. My groceries were bagged so ridiculously. I had brought in 3 reusable bags. One of the bags was packed so heavy I could barely lift it into my car. In that bag it had a bag of cubed ham, bag of long grain rice, bag of brown sugar, lb of bacon, lunch meat, butter, 2 pkg of cheese, 2 bags of instant mashed potatoes, cake mix, 6 cans of vegetable’s and 2 large jars of spagetti sauce. The other bag had a loaf of bread , large container of cottage cheese, and a bottle of creamer. The other bag wasn’t used. I would like to know if they ever trainer the baggers how to bag.

I love shopping at Westfield Kroger, I find myself shopping here more often than other grocery chains because of the personalized service. I always go to self check, and I can count on there being a familiar face. My favorite cashier is Parool. I see how personable she is with everyone. I see her taking time to talk to the moms and make the kids feel noticed. She’s so helpful, and I see her as the beacon of friendliness and light. I don’t often see others taking so much pride in making the customers feel welcome in today’s world. If she’s not there, I always go and get in line on the other side so I can say hi to Ina, she recognizes a lot of customers and interacts with them with her amazing warm smile. Kroger thank you for employing, warm genuine souls.

Used to like this store but the quality of products have gone downhill fast. Expired items on the shelves etc.

I come in for lunch here, I live in central Indianapolis and am up here currently for work
Unbeknownst to me they make fresh food
The price is cheaper than any other restaurant in the area and it’s great food and it’s fresh and made right in front of you
The women who make everything have great customer service and get every order out quick
I don’t personally shop for groceries here but if you want lunch for cheap and want it good come here

This is so sus! The employees kept calling be "Anti-Skibidi" whatever that means, and told me to go back to Ohio!

The self checkout now treats customers like criminals. Making one wait for the employee, who has been observing the whole time, to watch an over the shoulder video of the customer attempting to properly pack their groceries.
The store also unbundled products not for individual sale and put them in individual racks which results in a failure to scan with no meaningful error message.

I just really want to shout out to the Kroger pick-up/pickers/ loaders on 161st St Kroger in Westfield for always making it a really great experience. I have used this service for a really long time. They are very hardworking people and super kind/genuine about out of stock options and they really do try their best. I am disabled and use this service to assist me and my family multiple times a month. It helps me provide to my family when at times I am not able. These workers are very much needed and should be appreciated in our community.

Service in the store very bad, the person who is at the cash register with a very bad attitude on several occasions that I have made purchases on the site so much so that he left me the invoiced purchase and left without saying anything, "without saying you need help packing or anything" asked his manager at that time and said that the customer in this case I had to keep all my things that she was not obliged to help me when she had a large purchase.

Not the largest Kroger around but the layout is like most others (so if you know Kroger but never been to this one you will likely have no issue finding what you are looking for). Tidy (and I popped in on a busy day) Floor displays were not placed in a manner that hindered movement. Biggest obstacles was the back of aisles going into main travel aisles, more than once had people jammed because the space was not great ... it's workable, just not fast flowing.

Customer service is garbage. They act like they only need to give lottery tickets or money orders and that serving customers with issues is beneath them. Ask for help to find an item and they look at you like you work there and should know. Most of the time they answer without knowing anything. They even told me that if you forget your groceries that they dont even TRY to salvage your loss, but if you dont retrieve it by the end of the day they just sit it back on the shelves. Plenty of better stores to go to. Spend the extra 10 minute drive.

Two recent experiences with this Kroger make me wonder about management. Today, it literally took them 15 minutes to get their system to complete the processing of our $153 credit card payment. We had to go to multiple checkout lines and, eventually, to their customer service area, to get checked out. Meanwhile, frozen and refrigerated items just sat in our cart. Although Kroger personnel apologized for the delay, we were surprised no one offered any other means of making up for the inconvenience. The other experience was with the purchase of a Home Depot gift card - the card’s PIN code was blurred, making it unusable at Home Depot. Rather than receiving a refund of our $200 spend, we had to jump through hoops (provide photos, emails, receipt, etc) and were finally granted a digital gift card for Home Depot. Although better than nothing, our intended recipients of the gift card missed out and we ended up with a gift card we didn’t need or want at the time. So, beware of buying gift cards at Kroger.
