I made an appointment for the COVID booster for today at 4:20. I left work early and when I arrived and another customer that also an appointment told me they were out of vaccines. The staff overheard this conversation and did not even come to the counter to apologize. I left with no vaccine. Pretty sure they gave my vaccine to a walk-in. Very frustrating that they did not value my time or even care.

I think it's important that people know how dirty and unkempt this store is. They don't clean the counters, the credit card pads or the baskets that customers shop with. The parking along the sidewalk is filled with dirty cigarette butts. The front doors are loaded with cobwebs and dead spiders. A shift lead had me start to clean them and the duster I was using was so old and dirty it fell apart! The inside of store is just as bad. They only have someone come clean floor once a month. It should be swept more often. Another employee pointed out the spiders and webs on the inside wall! There is enough down time to be able to take care of these issues. What happened to taking pride in your store as a manager? Is that something that doesn't happen here in Indiana? I was recently taken off the schedule because I defended myself (again) to a shift lead who speaks down to employees. She likes to embarrass you in front of customers and make you feel stupid. I spoke with store manager about it and all she did was defend this shift lead's actions. It didn't matter how she made me feel or the fact that she did it in front of customers. I don't have a problem being corrected but pull me aside and talk to me like a person. A few weeks ago I watched a customer blast this shift lead because of how rude she was to her. I was told that several employees have either quit or transferred because of this manager. The assistant that came to work at this location was warned by several employees from other stores about this shift lead and how she was. Why is this behavior allowed at this location and why won't the manager do anything about it? This location is hurting for employees and this person is why! The other night I worked with another shift lead who had questionable behavior. She shops all night long and runs her stuff out to her car. I didn't know Walgreen's allowed us to do that! She was also digging through the trash so she could use coupons that were left behind. She pulled out a coupon from trash can and used it. I was told that was grounds for termination but apparently it's acceptable behavior at this location. I replaced her on register the other day and she had 3 or 4 coupons that were left behind set aside. Why? This shift lead drinks caffeine (pop) all day long and becomes EXTREMELY HIPER and she becomes very mean and disrespectful to employees as well. Her behavior almost becomes erratic at times. It's hard to follow. It seems to me that the store manager doesn't want to see what's really going on. When you work M-F 730-5, close an occasional Thursday with weekends off, your gonna miss some stuff. I've never heard of a manager in retail having every weekend off. If she was to address issues it might disrupt her schedule. She doesn't go out of her way to interact with employees. She always has a big smile on her face and says goodbye as she's leaving but how about acknowledging me and everyone when we are working. I came in my first morning shift and said good morning and she looked at me like I had 3 heads. I would love to hear thank you or good job once in a while but that doesn't happen either. It's not a good location to work at unless you like being yelled at and spoken to like you are stupid. You are never gonna be thanked and just expected to do what you're told when you're told. I just wanted people to know.
