Nice campus. Came here during Covid to use the testing center for clep exams. It was deserted but folks were friendly. I will be visiting again soon for more testing.

Before the merger between the two schools began, we were told that we wouldn't have to take courses at the other campus. Now, courses aren't being offered at my campus, which is a problem across all majors. Honestly, many students talk about how Westville campus will probably end up closing as students are being pushed to take courses all the way in Hammond. Don't waste your money here. Go ANYWHERE else. In the words of my program chair, "... for any major, students at one campus will be have to be willing and prepared to take certain courses that are available at the other campus."

Not a good experience as a parent! Staff members get angrily easy when you don't understand their answers to your questions. It almost seems as I am talking to a student that they employee. This school also makes incoming freshman take a course that is not needed for anyone's degree which is a 1st Year Experience class. After reading the syllabus its just a class for the University to make money. That's fine for students who live in Hammond and get their schooling for free or for people getting grants/scholarships but when you have none of those and paying out of pocket this is not something one would want to be paying for. I would recommend Indiana University Northwest as a better choice in Northwest Indiana region. They are more professional people working there who want to work for you and do not assume you work for them. Institutions forget that we employ them for an education not the other way around. If you don't live here in the area and you want the dorm experience go to Purdue Lafayette, if you insist on going to a Purdue school. Better surrounding areas much safer than Hammond area. If you don't believe me look up the Northwest Indiana Times paper see what's been going on around this area lately. You will be shocked!! Delete review

I had a great time at this school. I spent five years and go two degrees in Liberal Arts and Psychology. I even managed to get my career started rough and internship. I loved the smaller classes and shorter walks in between classes. I definitely prefer this school to a larger University.

Love the school and most of its faculty. The security is too up tight. I got pulled over and screamed at today because I had knee surgery and couldn't park in the back where the officer wanted me to park. After going where i wanted to go I was threatened to be taken to jail and supposed put me on a "list" where if I do anything at PNC again I'm going to jail... Thanks for serving me by allowing me to wait for a parking spot up close to open up. Not... If someone wants to wait for a better parking spot theres no reason they can't wait for it. And if you have children and security stops you, better have ear muffs cause you will not want your children repeating the words that the security uses (unnecessary).

Nice campus, security on patrol at all times. I feel comfortable here. A very friendly staff including advisors that work hard to put you on the right path toward the degree you are looking to obtain.
