I received an offer by mail to open a new account and to receive $ awarded.I visited the local branch, and the bank told me the offer is expired (which indeed was expired!) however, the manager told me that they still can manually put it through, and I could get the $ reward within 90 days.After 2 months, when it was close to the time to get what I was promised, the Bank contacted me and informed me that they cannot offer what they planned to, but instead, only if I bring in some extra funds, then, they can put me on some other offer (and give me some less $ than the original offer). I disagreed, and closed down my account the same day.

I hate having to make this post but I am over the treatment from this branch. I was part of the Meijer credit card issue back on 5/21 where people kept getting charged over and over again. Chase bank notified all banks to refund people the money they were charged. Chase Bank said for everyone to dispute the charges and the banks to refund the customers. I was charged between Meijers duplications and overdraffed fees because of it almost $1000.00. I am still fighting with Regions to get all my money back a month later. Everyone I have spoken to that this happened to that did not bank with Regions got their money back that week. I hate it I have been with them for years but I have had to get another bank account elsewhere to have my paychecks put in. I am going to have to close this account now because I can not rely on them to fix issues. I would not even give them 1 star but have to just to be able to post this.

First occurrence: Regions put a 10-day hold on deposited check (from my own company to myself)Second occurrence: Regions put a 7-day hold on a deposited check and then locked my account "due to fraud."I called customer support - "this must be handled at a local branch."I visited the local branch - "you have to call the fraud department, there's nothing we can do here."I called the fraud department - "you must visit a local branch to take care of the issue"WHAT IS GOING ON?! My account is locked and I'm unable to withdraw any funds or use my debit card.While the bankers at this local branch are nice, this bank has some serious internal problems. I would look elsewhere if considering opening an account.**UPDATE - It's been 21 days of my account being on hold/locked and being told there's nothing they can do. This bank is horrendous
