“Very organized, many items to choose from, prices reasonable. Very clean. Did not get a hello greeting with a smile when we entered but did receive a smile when my daughter asked to use the changing room and when we left.”

“This place is really cool but if you don’t like rummaging through things or you’re looking for like a more polished store, you might not like this one. I personally thought it was an amazing store and the people who run it are so friendly and they’re willing to answer any questions or help you in anyway they can. This place is amazing. I love it and I’ve only been one time. I’m definitely coming back!”

“Great place to shop, with warm loving people willing to help you locate that perfect find. Take your time look around. You help yourself while helping others, how cool is that!”

“My first visit, 6 months ago, I shopped for 2 hrs. Had a basket full of items and my 8 lb dog (blind, deaf, in special “seat”, no noise) was with me. Several of the shop employees helped me get the cart so my dog was comfortable and they all commented how cute and quiet he was, which I really appreciated. Upon moving to check out, I was (pretty harshly) informed that I was unable to purchase my items as there is a NO PETS policy in the store. Ok… I get it. But why let me shop for 2 hrs before informing me? …… yesterday… I went back, without my dog. Same rude, cold, personalities I remember from prior. Clean store. Good “stuff”. Pricing is a little high for the area. Just don’t ask for assistance.”

“Always such a pleasure coming here! Not only do they stock unique and interesting items every week, but it’s all for a wonderful cause supporting animals in need. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming — I always leave with a smile on my face. Special shoutout to Daniel at the front for being so attentive and kind. You can really tell everyone here cares, both about the mission and the people who walk through the door. Highly recommend stopping by! ?”

Suites A&B, 3535 W Ridge Rd #1800, Gary IN 46408
“Nice small shop where it appears you can rent small booths to sell your things. Not many treasures to be found, but prices are mostly fair. Depends on the vendor, though. The back room is increasingly becoming a place to sell expired snacks.”

“When you arrive to the Goodwill Outlet be aware of the T- Shirt Gang that's there. They are a group of six to eight guys that surrounds the bins from all sides and stop the other customers from going to that bin.”

“I normally find good things here and the staff is always nice to me. Lately though the prices are pretty expensive. It seems to be that way across all Goodwill locations in North West Indiana, but at this location specifically, I found a pair of levi’s jeans they marked up for $19.99 and that’s just not acceptable imo”

“Only reason I don’t give it a 5 is the prices. But the variety of clothing there. Wow! I’ve been thrifting 5+ years and all places have gone up in price. This place is following the trend/demand. Catch the sales! It’ll be worth it.”

“Idk I get that people are complaining about the prices being high, but the clothes are in good shape for a thrift store. Also goodwill has always been known for being on the higher side of prices. Im on the younger side but I have found good clothes that fit my aesthetic here at this location.”
