We grass feed our lambs exclusively so it is super important for the processor to get that lanolin fat layer off the carcass….Country Grown did a super job doing this. Our ground meat has not one hint of “sheep barn” flavor ??. Also, we had 10 lbs of brats made with the habanero mango seasoning- these are FANTASTIC!

We had a 1/2 beef processed here in the spring (not raised by us). We were really happy with the cuts and packaging. We did have our ground beef processed to 90/10, I won’t do that again because we lost too much of the flavor gained from the fat. It also makes burgers too dry. That was my mistake going too lean on the ground.
