Charming small book shop we've enjoyed for many years. Nice room for children's books. Always find several selections that interest our family of 5. Appreciate having this shop in Zionsville!

Great bookstore with a big selection of high-quality books. I really enjoyed talking to the owner. She was super-helpful with finding a fairly rare book I was looking for. Ended up purchasing a whole set of history books.

Charming store. They have some selection but it isn't a huge store. Definitely stop by.
Black Dog Books is housed in a Civil War era house at the heart of Zionsville's historic Village. We carry gently read, rare/collectible books. We specialize in fine leather bindings and classics. Also featured, are books by Indiana authors and some new books. Our black lab Sophie greets everyone. We have a large children's room called Pooh Corner. The main room features a cozy fireplace with comfy leather chairs on both sides. We also sell beautiful paintings by local artists. Our antiquarian maps, and journals, also make great gifts.
