Hunt Club Boarding Kennel is a safe and very caring place for our pup. We will be taking our boy there again.

I am one that does not like giving bad reviews unless I really think that it's needed. In this case, we called and left voicemails and no response. When it comes to boarding most of the time it's something that is time sensitive and needs to be answered quickly. I was not happy that I was not ever able to talk with anyone. If you would like a response and not have to follow up this would not be a place that I would recommend.

The wonderful staff at Hunt Club Boarding Kennel could not have been more accommodating…Their friendly demeanor was felt by me as well as my 13 year old English Springer Spaniel, Dixie. Dixie goes into panic like shakes just getting close to the vets office but she is eager and happy to go to the Hunt Club. I had to leave for over a month and was so worried about her care as she is kinda spoiled and very needy and likes to always be around people. She returned so happy and everyone at the Kennel made her feel like this was her second home. I highly recommend boarding your dog at this lovely location…

I can't even begin to put into words how they have been there for our fur babies over the years. Even when our other two dogs were geriatric, they took extra care of them while we were gone. We never doubted they would be loved on. And with our new fur baby, they are just as sweet to him. We would highly recommend them. Love that they know us and our dogs.

Scheduled a trial day for our pit and mastiff via phone for a week long boarding the following week. When we arrived to drop off the staff was very friendly and apologetic for the confusion on not having us in the system and on the calendar and gave me a tour of the facility. The guy who helped me get them checked in and gave me the tour was very nice and professional. As I was on my way home, about 20 min later, I got a call from the owner saying they have a policy against pitbulls and “our dogs won’t let the staff in the kennel and it’s just not gonna work” and said if I’m around and can come get them that’d be great. (Huffing and puffing as well like me and my dogs are such an inconvenience) The policy against pitbulls would have been nice to know when I called and gave them all the info on my dogs and scheduled them. Also would have been good to know before we spent over $200 having their shots specifically for boarding. I understand our mastiff gets very nervous and uncomfortable and I explained that to them when I dropped them off. I specifically said he needs lots of encouragement and to be built up. This is their first experience being boarded- of course they are nervous and uneasy at first. It’s not rocket science to try and get a dog to warm up to you and trust you. Maybe give them the peanut butter Kong that I paid for them to have? (I got my money back) but that would’ve been a good start. I understand there are reasons for trial days and maybe it wouldn’t have been a good fit. I am just disappointed that a “distinctive” facility wouldn’t have given it more than 20 minutes to let a dog relax. So basically if your dog will be at all nervous and bark at the people within the first half hour- this is not the place for you. The 3 stars I did give are for the young man that helped me and gave me a tour.

Travel has always held us back from getting a dog. We finally got a puppy this year and have boarded him several times at Hunt Club. Beautiful property. Nice, professional staff. Our dog is always happy, healthy, and well groomed when we pick him up. We can rest easy on vacation knowing our puppy is in good hands : )

Imagine being dropped off to stay a week at a kennel that keeps you in a a crate for the better part of the day without much interaction. Luckily for the pets whose owners know, the Hunt Club is a country retreat located on the NW-side of Indianapolis. We have been using Nancy's kennel for the last 6 years for our two large breed dogs. Upon our arrival the dogs gleefully jump out of the car and are escorted down to their area. They have plenty of outdoor time and offer for a small extra charge nature walks and peanut butter kongs to make sure your pets are happy. Our boys require beds and they offer some raised beds for their aging joints in their horse stalls. When we pick them up, of course they are happy to see us, but they still look healthy and have not lost any weight which is always a fear for an owner dropping off a possibly skittish pet. I cannot endorse this place enough as a safe caretaker of your beloved animals while you are away.

Best place ever!!!! Had a horrible experience at another local boarding place so this place was such a God send to us and our dog! They’re always way beyond friendly and efficient. I even had to keep my dog there past his original stay because of a family emergency and they accommodated us even though it was a very busy time and they didn’t have the space. Love this place! Thank you for being so great!

Many years ago after moving back from Italy, we boarded our puppy Zoe there for 4 very long months. We would go visit her every day and even did private training with her there. The staff was so AMAZING to her and even let her hang out in the front office with them during the day. Many thanks to Hunt Club Boarding Kennel. Our Zoe has since passed, however we've never forgotten the excellent care she received on her very long visit there.
