Worthless Minute Clinic. GO ELSEWHERE!

I made an appointment online to get a COVID shot and flu shot on October 9th, 2021. I arrived on time, and receptionist told me they would give me a high-dose flu shot. I told her I just wanted the standard dose flu shot. The receptionist then talked to the nurse-practitioner, who refused to give me either, and told me to leave. I left, and then received a bill for $61.46 for the visit with the nurse practitioner. I called the billing department in January and explained to the representative that I never saw the nurse-practitioner and never received any service. The rep agreed I shouldn't have to pay anything and said she would take care of it. However, I received another bill for the same amount in February, so called the billing department again, spoke to another rep named Diane, who agreed I shouldn't have to pay this, said she would take care of this, and that a billing department manager would call me. No one called me, and 5 months later I received another bill for $61.46 I called the billing department again, spoke to a rep named Linda, and again she said I shouldn't have to pay this, she would take care of it, and a billing manager would call me in a couple days. No one called me, and this month I received a letter from a collection agency for this same bill. I called MinuteClinic billing again, spoke to another rep, who again agreed I shouldn't have to pay this, and transferred me to Jim, who said he would take care of this, but suggested I call back in 2 weeks to make sure I no longer owe anything. I am extremely frustrated by the total lack of service I received and the inability of this company to remove an unfair charge, and even send it to collections after I have called multiple times. Each time, I was told the charge would be removed, but, after 8 months of calling, it not only has not been removed, it was sent to collections! I have no intention of ever going back to MinuteClinic for any reason.

The employees at this office are, or, at least, were, either incompetent or greedy or both. I scheduled a flu shot and Covid shot at this office in October. After the receptionist took all my insurance information, she said they would give me the high dose influenza vaccine, since I am 68, and the Covid vaccine. I told her my wife had a very bad reaction to the high dose influenza vaccine and I have never had side effects from the standard flu shot, so I requested that instead. She talked to the nurse-practitioner, and then said she refused to give me either one and told me to leave. I calmly requested the Covid vaccine at least, but she refused so I left. Two months later, I received a bill for over $61 for "services" rendered, even though the nurse practitioner never spoke a word to me. I called the billing phone #, and explained to the rep I did not receive any services. I wasted my time driving 15 minutes to and from this MinuteClinic. She said she would take off the bill. One month later, I received another bill for $61.46. I am going to call the billing department again, and if they don't cancel the bill, I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I have not received any service, or an apology, from this clinic, only a hassle and inappropriate bills.

Have used this location for a few various reasons. Wait times were never too long and PA or nurse was always thorough, almost scripted. No true issues in a year. Persons working the office could have been a little warmer but with medical issues I prefer skilled and focused over warm and friendly.

Visited Sunday, Nov 26th at 5:25 pm. Nurse would not see me because they close at 5:30 pm. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO insurance.

Great experience, fantastic nurse practitioner and truly convinient. I was seen by the NP, diagnoses and had my prescription in hand in less than 15 minutes.
