Mike (the owner) is the most honest used car dealer I have ever met! He really cars not only about the customers, but he cares to make sure that what he is selling is safe and reliable. I put him through so many questions during my shopping time and he was patient, and willing to answer everything I threw at him with a smile. 1000000% recommend Mike and the Shack!

I found the ad off Facebook marketplace for a 2010 Toyota tundra. 4 hours away I was a little weary of the drive for a possible unreliable car or messed up. Mike, the owner reassured me that it’s in excellent condition and I wouldn’t be upset when I arrived. When I arrived we noticed things that made us skeptical. The truck wasn’t in the worst condition but was NOT in the “excellent” condition Mike spoke about. The coolant had been a little bit below the low line. They filled it up with different color and I thought it should be fine as it wasn’t too low. They painted the undercoat in black in hopes to cover some of the rust. But for that Mike lowered the price and we thought it was okay. I then get hope and the coolant falls to the same place and the cost to fix as it’s leaking coolant is $800 and on top of the $1100 as the shocks are rusted and shot soon. I call up Mike as this is not the excellent truck he promised I wouldn’t be upset about and after dodging my calls for 3 days he said “if he knew about it he would’ve fixed it and charged more for the truck” I reminded him that’s not the case as he already sold me the truck, he refuses to pay for any of the repairs. He seemed to be a nice guy at first and unfortunately turned out not to be the case. I would probably avoid buying vehicles from him as you don’t know what you may get your self into, not a trustworthy guy!

Do not buy your vehicles from this place. Asked the owner about the condition of the vehicle. He said everything was excellent. Made it out and noticed the frame was rattle canned, has excessive rust, and had caulking in some areas to cover up rust. Engine bay had lots of rust, they cover up issues with lots of tire shine as well. Cracked windshield, bald tires, and body damage just to name some things that were not disclosed. Drove out 2.5hrs one way for nothing. Seller lacks honesty, be sure to have their vehicles inspected by a professional, especially if you lack general automotive knowledge.

This is an excellent place to find a reliable and budget vehicle for whatever your needs may be. They have many options, even if the website doesn't show each option, as they are always changing their inventory. They are very transparent with you and will be more than willing to help and assist you in any way shape or form. We recently bought a vehicle from here and it has been an excellent experience overall. This was a cheap and well maintained vehicle and it is obvious that someone had taken care of if in the past. If there are any problems, they are more than willing to go out of their way to fix it to ensure customer satisfaction. This is a great place to buy cars from, especially if you are looking for something to get you from college and back.

Had been looking for a used truck for awhile now.. messaged Mike asked of the one in question was still available and it was.. took a few days to get down there to look at it. Mike and his technician are very easy to talk to and deal with! Unfortunately after purchasing said truck I found a broken leaf spring Mike offered to pay for my cost of the spring! 12 year old used vehicle's will have "issues" but I am happy with my purchase and would go again in the future

Don’t trust this guy to sell you a vehicle. After I agreed to buy the truck he informed me he didn’t have a title and that he’d get it in the mail and I could pick it up in the coming weeks. He told me he doesn’t “concern myself with little issues” after pointing out anything. He claimed virtually no rust on the truck, and after I get home my mechanic tells me the frame has poorly been patched together. He doesn’t care about you or these vehicles he’s just trying to make a quick buck.
