None of the registers let us use cash, and it said it was going to take till 11 to pick something up when in reality it only took 10 minutes

Where to start....Small quick grocery pick up tonight. Went to the cashiers and NO CASHIERS!!!! Not a one. When I asked a staff person to get a cashier I was informed that no one currently present was able or available. Now for a disabled person such as myself, having a cashier person is not only convenient it is necessary for my shopping experience. As I am hanging onto the the cart and my cane for balance, the store employee looks me dead in the eye and says "You will just have to do it yourself." Can you imagine the frustration, anger, and humiliation one feels in this instance?? During this ordeal only ONE employee attempted to help. The ladies (a cashier and team leader) actions were worthless, condensing, and without a shred of compassion or smidgen of customer service expertise. As I was laboring and causing myself pain trying to scan heavy (to me) items, maintain my balance and suppress the screaming urge to just leave everything I needed in the cart and leave the building, I watched the very same folks telling another customer that there was not anyone who could help him get gift cards at the self check out, there was no one who could open a register, and it must be his (cards) fault the transaction wasn't working. This was after I watched them "teach" this poor customer how to do a Wal-Mart gift card at the self checkout. I have seen many levels of customer service in my 5 decades, watching, tonight, Walmart's winning race to the bottom was both breathtaking and disgusting.

The store itself is great! I really like the clothing section. A bit jealous of the business pants at this location vs the one back home. Very clean and organized. Was able to find what I needed pretty quick.Would’ve given 5-⭐️, but the employees seemed to be very angry with the world. There were a few exceptional employees that assisted me, but everyone basically looked miserable.

The collection is good.Liked it.It's just that you better know what you want before entering Walmart else it's a huge area with huge collection and you might get tired roaming around, yet not find what you want.

I usually don't leave reviews and I totally understand working retail I've done dollar general Casey's home town foods and target and done restrains. That being said, I've tried ordering things for a pick up order that my daughter needs for her medical issues (she's had surgery at 6 months and is a Iowa City baby) I've ordered it two times now and both times didn't have it the first time I get it I'll walk in and just buy it but its becoming recurring and again I'm wasting money. I understand things happen but there's been many other things like expired formula and food. I would expect it in a small town store not Walmart. Over all I'm losing money and not getting the things I need for my 3 year old with medical issues and my 6 month 3 week year old.... Do better be better.

The store is difficult for me to shop. They don't have enough handicapped riding carts. With a store this size if you are not well it's best to choose a smaller store or order for pick up or delivery. I was thankful that I could ask for assistance to my car.

The security system is honestly degrading. The old woman working security is ridiculous and damn near abusing her power. We are paying customers not criminals. I guess in Walmart you are guilty until proven innocent.

This is the nicest Walmart I've EVER been to! All employees were pleasant, helpful and smiled when I spoke to them and asked for help. NOT ONE were on their phone ... At all! The store was clean, organized and it was overall a pleasant shopping experience. Considering I walked a mile to get there, it was well worth the visit. I'm 100% certain the employee demographic had a lot to do with my positive experience!! I was there in the early a m. Thank you!!

Store is not doing well... putting the lines so close to each other..no space. Many of the products have been re-labled to Great Value. Most of them ok, but I want Sunbelt Bakeries...raspberry soft baked bar. ..there are others but this is most important to me. Great Value bars are not hot

I have no qualms of this establishment, normal staff. Maybe the ponytail guy in the electronics could have a better attitude, but I'm sure I'd be down on life if I had a dry crusty ponytail like his.

Walmart (in my opinion) is a lot like going to the DMV. Both are generally miserable experiences, but they're also both necessary evils from time to time. For the grimes location specifically, there's one thing they appear to excel at above all other retailers... Lack of customer service.More often than not, you'll see nobody working a cash register. No lanes open except self checkout.I am not an employee, and I'm not given a discount for ringing up my groceries, yet if I were to make any mistake in doing so, I would be squarely blamed for any errors.Just another indication to me that Walmart appears to care only about stuffing more money into their pockets at the expense of customer service.Pathetic.

This Walmart is the poster child for bad Walmarts. Your almost guaranteed to see the police here every visit arresting someone. I've watched people get dragged out screaming, I've seen cops yelling at people in the front door, I've even seen people lose it and destroy the detectors up front. One time I was in a toy isle and 2 cops came one on each side. The guy next to me had been stealing and coming back in to get more. I was approached a few times in the parking lot here by people sneaking up behind me and asking for money. It's fairly close to the large truck stop where sex trafficking happens a lot and has been in the news multiple times for it. It's not a safe Walmart. It's dirty and they don't put the stock away, most of the time it just sits in the isles or in the middle of the walkways. The pharmacy is constantly out of medicine. The produce is a hit and miss. Cakes can only be requested if it's more than 48 hours in advance. Lots of items are locked up in electronics and personal hygiene. Carts sit piled up outside constantly. If you need to come here do pick up or come during the day during the week.

I picked one star only because that is as low as you can go. For all you people who put in good reviews about this store... take off your blinders!!! I shop at this store at least twice a week, and I hate it every time I have to go in there! I only go because their prices are a bit cheaper and I'm a cheapskate. I make them pay every time I go. I look for everything I can find that is wrong and bring it to their attention. Problem is nothing ever changes. The store manager there is a moron!! So here are just some of the issues: 1. It's filthy! 2. They have no idea what they have or what they need! The items that they sell out of quickly are always gone. That's because they don't understand inventory. If you sell out of something fast....now here comes the big secrete, ORDER MORE OF THEM!! 3. Nobody that works there ever knows where anything is. 4. Shelves are not stocked correctly....EVER! 5. Make sure you check the pricing. Every time I go I find a problem with the pricing, and it's never in my favor, always Walmart's!! Last time it totaled up to $15. Take that times 10 million customers per day. l 6. I've called their 800 number so many times they know my voice. I always tell them my latest "customer experience", but nothing ever happens or changes! 7. They are not even smart enough to teach their people how to sack groceries. It's not rocket science people. You don't put the cold stuff in with the warm stuff. I had to start using the self check so I could walk out of there with my groceries sacked correctly. Which really pisses me off. I have to do all the work, but don't anything back for my trouble. How about 10% off the groceries for my trouble. No, what do they do, they pay someone to stand there and watch me check my stuff, someone that could be running a checkout in another aisle. 8. Then the put someone else at the door asking for receipts. Right in front of the door and blocks the way for anyone else. Here's a little tid bit. You don't have to show them your receipt!!!!! Read the law. The transfer of ownership starts at the checkout stand. Those are your groceries, and you let them paw through your stuff!! NOT ME. I have a lot more but I think you get the idea. I realize the last few are more Walmart corp issues and not just this store. I'm not saying stay away from the store, just saying be aware, and don't let them get away with all their BS. Make yourself heard. I know I do!!

This Walmart superstore is slowly becoming slum. The isles are unkempt, the shelves are not organized. The produce isles are super messy. There's random shoppers with dogs in the produce and meat area. The bathroom is worse than the rest area in Florida. Super dirty, trash bins are full and debris littered the entire bathroom. It's disappointing to slowly see your favorite grocer self destruct.Aldi across the street is a better option, there are hyvee or fareway down on 8th street. They finally repave the parking lot, but the interior remained unkept..Poory managed and slowly deteriorating.i recommend going to Aldi across the street, Hyvee or fareway down the road.
