I had won a $5.00 gift certificate from completing NIELSEN TV SURVEY. they gave us choices where: i chose ACE!
i went to use that today from my iphone could NOT find it anywhere.
clerk was so patient with me; sorry i don't remember his name!
he waited on other customers from the other cash register while i looked for the email showing $5.00 certificate.
that was great customer service and not making me feel bad for not having it ready ahead of time.
ace has ALWAYS had wonderful employees who VOLUNTARILY ask us if we need help in finding what we need!! way to go ;)

Logan at Ace Hardware showed me another the correct way to load my staple gun when I bought staples today. Eureka! I had been loading it wrong (and speaking Russian as a result). Now it works. I run a garden business and have relied on the Ace team for over 20 years for everything from mulch to power tools. They are always their to help and treat me like family. Ace Hardware is a gift that keeps on giving. Thank you, Tasha, Jonathan, Jordon, and all the gang!

This is a good Ace. Although they didn't have what I needed and it was a rare electrical item, he sent me to another store in Ames that dealt with more items. This is the true Ace philosophy of helping the customer get what they need when they don't carry the item.......now that's a sure way of repeat business instead of shrugging your shoulders with an I don't know answer!! Thank you AMES ACE HARDWARE!!!

Went to buy a Milwaukee battery needed one with a little juice for a emergency was told would have some battery when purchasing after opening was completely dead and way overpriced save your money and just buy it online I learned my lesson.
