The owners are still the same, sweet, people... Glue that binds the book considering Welch Ave. and it's historic neighborhood. ?♂️ ?♀️ The small staff has barely changed in years, and they may or may not help you out if you're a few pennies short. ?

I enjoy the staff at AJ's Liquor. For one, when you walk in, they are usually pumping out great diverse music. I love the warm, smart personalities, and having a nice small conversation with them. It cheers me up a bit. I love getting incense there, it is cheap.

I’m extremely irritated. I went to AJ’s with a friend and the cashier accused me of having a fake ID. I am originally from Kansas but am a college student, so I have a Kansas ID. I had a Kansas shirt on and could have told him any of the info on my ID (obviously). He took everything I had off the counter and threw my ID at me. Taking my business elsewhere.

AJ’s has really mastered the understanding of, “Customer Experience.” I swear, everyone who works there must have a photographic memory, because the moment you walk in, they just go and grab the liquor you’ve bought in the past. They are ALL fantastic at giving recommendations, based on what they know you’ll like. I mean, just a SOLID staff there.
