No appointment, drove up and tried my luck. Had a leak on the front passenger side. The owner helped me out in a very time effective manner, completing the job in less than 30 minutes. Amazing service.

The owner is a nice guy, very respectful, he is always available to help me when I have a tire issue. Even if he is busy he always finishes up quickly and starts on my issue. I brought my work van in today and he is willing to figure out my problem.

I called on a Friday about getting 4 tires replaced with new ones. Trino had them ordered and in-house by that following Monday. When I arrived, they had all 4 replaced, balanced, and mounted within an hour. Great service, and I'll be back next time around!

Had a damaged tire after going over deer carcass on Highway 30 in dense fog. Tire beyond repair along with bones inside it. Owner, Trino, was able to have it replaced the next morning. Reasonable price. Very friendly. Great small business in Ames. Will visit again as needed.

Recently, I had a bad interaction when getting a flat tire by another local shop. However, I called Ames Tire Shop and was instantly helped! Not only is the service amazing and fast, the owner and others working there are always polite and respectful! I know who I will continue to go to for my car needs. Thank you!

Amazing job done by these folks, had 4 bad tires on my 04 Chevy Aveo every where else quoted me $800 for 4 tires mounted and balanced. These folks got me the same brand new tires the other guys were quoting me for and got em ordered new and mounted and balanced for $400 super friendly staff! From my experience these folks have earned a lifelong customer!

Came by with a set of wheels and tires i was trying to get flipped, not a single shop in ames besides them were willing to take me. within 10 minutes, no questions asked, got the job done without scratching the wheels in the slightest. One of the best shops i’ve ever been to, hands down.

I got a flat tire while traveling for work. They were able to patch my tire and I was back on the road quickly. Not to mention there was a taco truck there while you wait. Top notch service at a great price. Thanks again guys!
