The laundry room in 119 Stanton is terrible. You can spend $15 and still not have dry clothes. Only half of the washers work at a given time so there is always a wait for the ones that work. The dryers are a waste of money. They dont do their job. They barely dry anything and it’s easy to waste $5+ dollars on multiple cycles of the same load and your clothes still won’t be dry.

Great location and views from the balcony. However the rooms feel small with no windows and the utilities can get high.

The general manager is not helpful at all. My friends heat was broken for over a week and the maintenance said there was nothing was wrong twice and they gave her broken space heaters. They finally found a problem and the gm did not offer any compensation and was not at all helpful.

Stanton 119. Great location as it is across the street from ISU campus. It is nice for a college apartment sometime can get loud, but not terrible. They do a good job cleaning and keeping communal spaces welcoming. Complaints: had problems with heating when in the negatives, half the time dryers do not work. I lived there for 2 years and enjoyed my stay. More benefits than downfalls. Campustown staff always willing to help.

Great location and price was ok. Otherwise I would never come back. I wouldn’t even recommend it to my dog. Maintenance requests addressed within a few days, but maintenance of the building of a whole is a wreck. Side door to the building hasn’t had a handle on it since i’ve moved in last fall.Great view from the balcony but no windows at all in my bedroom and only one single window in the whole apartment makes the state of living daunting and very depressing. Not sure how bedrooms can go without windows and still be up to code? Not sure how that’s even possible to get passed by inspectors. Thin walls, can hear from neighboring apartments very easily. Rental installments do not get withdrawn with landlord insurance or the water bill, and the separate transactions are a nuisance. The laundry room sucks. Only two dryers actually dry your clothes and washing machines constantly break down, otherwise I am spending a damn fortune every time i do laundry because i have to double or even triple dry.

After living in 119 Stanton Ave., I enjoyed the apartment very much. It was beautiful to live in beautiful views and great people to interact with the only issue I had was the extreme amount of utility prices I was getting charged roughly 300 a month I would recommend living here, if you don’t mind paying a little extra

Worst management I have had to deal with in my life. They will do anything they can to scam money out of young kids. Our kids did not sign up for gas and electric. Clearly this was irresponsible and a mistake, but Campustown did not charge utility fees until November (moved in in August). The kids took care of the issue right away, but by this time three months of bills went through to Campustown, and each kid (4 total) was charged $50 per month per utility. This was a total of $1200 in fees for one unit for a group of kids who corrected the problem as soon as they realized their mistake. I have always paid fees in my life when making a mistake without complaint, but $1200 in fees is excessive. Clearly this seems set up to scam the most money out of young kids for one mistake, and Campustown will not cut them a break. All of this on top of the kids having to move into an extremely dirty apartment in August. It seemed as if Campustown did not clean much at all before they moved in.

You are better off living in the on campus apartments compared to here. For starters, the 5 bedroom apartments in 119 have no interior windows for anyone except the two upstairs bedrooms that have tiny balconies so be prepared for zero sunlight inside. The management takes a long time to repair any issues with the building as well. The door from the sidewalk for building 119 has had no exterior door handle ever since I moved in at the start of August and it's now December. The garbage chute also has been closed several times now for repairs that last weeks sometimes. Only a few of the dryers in the building actually dry your clothes properly and washing machines constantly being broken down etc..Lastly, it seems the management does not really take your issues seriously after they have got you to sign their lease. I'm not sure if it's a race thing or not but when I signed my lease, I did not request anyone specifically for roommates and they ended up putting me with an entire apartment filled with other Indians too as if they did not want to let us live amongst others. Again I cannot say what caused them to room me with them but it did rub me the wrong way. But the kicker comes when one of said roommates threatened me with assault, I personally emailed Tammie, the general manager and requested they change my room assignment, but she never responded to my email when others were replied to. I ended up having to talk to my attorney and the police to get my roommate in check.Overall I will definitely not be renewing my lease here and I absolutely do not recommend it for anyone. If you are unlucky with your room assignment, good luck getting any help.

I had a great experience with campustown! The staff there are all helpful and well trained but the leasing agent that helped me the most and would recommend anyone to talk to would be Alyssa! She answered all questions and concerns I had and overall had a great attitude. She seemed very knowledgeable in what she was doing which was different compared to the nearby Apartments I contacted who couldn’t seem to answer my concerns!
