Larry does great work and in a timely manner. I purchased a car from Jensen Ford in Marshalltown and let the owner know that the car had a bad vibration. This was right when I purchased the vehicle. Took it back in to Jensen and they told me that I bent 2 wheels and I would need to pay $2800 for 2 wheels since it was my fault. Basically told Jensen to shove it. Called Larry and he found what the actual cause was. He replaced the transfer assembly, propeller shaft, and the steering shaft. The car drives like new. He did amazing work and we will definitely be going back.

Larry is great at his craft and glad I found him to fix my cars! He gets me in quickly (usually within a few days) and is a straight shooter when it comes to diagnostic and what needs to be done, which I greatly appreciate. Heās earned my business and am glad we have a āsmall town niceā type auto mechanic in Ames!

Larry does just about everything. He's replaced my brakes, alternator, and transmission fluid all for a very reasonable price. He also has loaner cars available if you don't have access to another vehicle. Outstanding mechanic!

Throughout my 4 years in Ames I have ran into many different car problems from engine work, suspension, alignment, sensors and even my wheel almost completely breaking off. Larry has always shown initiative to squeeze me into his schedule and has never taken longer than a day to get my vehicle back to me. Always realistic and honest with prices. No BS type of guy. Highly recommend.
