This facility is horrible. Overnight package is now being held until Monday. Was supposed to be delivered on Saturday. That’s why people pay more money for overnight delivery. The package made it from Texas to Ames in less than 12 hours. Hits Ames shipping center and has to sit all weekend. This package contains medication that is packed with ice. Thanks Fed Ex! Because of your laziness and ignorance I will go without my medication this weekend. UPS, Amazon, hell even USPS is faster than you. Ames Fed Ex is hands down the worst shipping center! Do better!

Been waiting for package to be delivered for 8 days now. It sat 4 days in Ames facility. And now its been out for delivery then returned back to facility with zero delivery attempts, 4 times!! Fedex has not been to my home, I have cameras, and have been waiting for the package.

I have a crucial document in a package that should be delivered to my apartment a week ago. However, despite multiple attempts, the driver has consistently refused to deliver the package.
The initial delivery attempt occurred seven days ago, and every morning, the tracking status indicates that the package is out for delivery by 8 p.m. Despite these notifications, the driver has consistently failed to deliver the package without providing any explanation. Furthermore, I haven’t received any delivery notifications or stickers on my door.
I’ve contacted five customer service representatives regarding this issue, but no resolution has been achieved. I’m highly skeptical of the driver’s capabilities and believe they may not be adequately trained for this role. Specifically, I’m concerned about the driver’s inability to deliver an envelope after five attempts.
This situation is unacceptable and demands immediate attention. I urge your company to hire a more capable delivery driver and raise the standards for employment. standards for employment.

The drivers didn’t attempt to even deliver the package. I was home all day and live 1 hour away from Ames and the package never left Ames “but they attempted to deliver”. Get new drivers before they drive your credibility into the ground.

I’m not one to complain, but this FedEx office and their drivers need to be held accountable. I waited around for a package all day today for them to say the package delivery was attempted. No attempt was made, no one knocked on the door or left a notice and I have video proof I was inside the building. This is not the first time I have had delivery issue with this location. I was told by a driver directly and the agent working at the front desk that they know my business hours are 6 to 2. So they don’t even attempt to leave me packages. However when I know I have a package coming 9 of 10. I’ll wait around that day inside the business to receive the package.

The worst facility in Iowa by a long shot. They cannot find addresses even after multiple complaints and they constantly don't deliver packages on time. I have had multiple deliveries that were late simply because they make it to. The facility and the driver doesn't take it. Priority overnight means nothing to them. If you're in central Iowa you should use any other delivery service than this place because it's a joke.

Terrible service! I have packages PAID to be overnighted to me (medication that is time sensitive!) and my packages NEVER get delivered on time. When I call and spend 30 plus minutes on the phone with a customer service team member I get told they understand my frustration.
When the tracking tells me NO ATTEMPT made is real BS!
FEDEX you can do better!

Fed Ex has become the least reliable delivery service out there. Once again my package has been on the truck “out for delivery” to be delivered by 8PM on a Friday. I check tracking at 7:45 and now it’s at the facility and won’t be delivered until Monday. This is medication that must be kept cold, that will now sit on a truck for 3 additional days because they can’t ever seem to deliver on time. I’m not sure why they even send tracking. Fed Ex delivers on Saturdays, they were paid for 2-day delivery but since they can’t deliver when they say they will, they are going to keep it until Monday and I’ll have to go through this staying home and waiting all over again. Hopefully my medication is still safe, but they don’t care. They got paid for a service they didn’t provide. And you can’t call anyone! I really wish companies would stop using Fed Ex. I never use them because I don’t want my customers to be as angry as I am right now. This has happened so many times. Flipping Pony Express would be quicker!!

Very friendly and helpful staff, wasn’t at home to sign for my package, and I was able to easily get it from here
