“I've dropped in here a couple times in the past year while visiting Ames. The owners and coaches are all really great, and the members are very welcoming. One of my favorite gyms I've ever visited while traveling, for sure.”

“Great place to train! Came here after switching from a commercial gym, and I can definitely say the atmosphere is very different! You're training with like-minded people and common goals of strength, and if that's not enough, you get to watch some very strong individuals lift some ungodly weights like its nothing. Not only that, its 24/7 access so I don't need to worry about not being able to make it into the gym late at at night after work! And the staff are very friendly ?I'm happy I came to this place ?Need a place full of strong people? Come to the Athletic club. Want to find new friends and/or that motivation that you need to get out of bed? Come to the Athletic club!”
“Guys! This gym is so wonderful! The staff is so friendly and cool and a little bit awesome! Tell all your friends to use this gym it is the #1 gym on campus! I personally really enjoy the 2 (yes you heard that right, TWO!!) different tracks they have to offer! I could walk laps around them all day probably I think. #TeamState”
“This Factory has it all! Great high quality Olympic weightlifting set-up, CrossFit Classes, HIIT classes and the coaches are amazing! Drop in for a class or just to use the gym! The Owner doesn’t cut any corners with it comes to equipment, programming and knowledgeable coaches.”
“Very kind staff, comfortable environment, good equipment! They play music but not too loud to where you couldn’t play your own with headphones. I would recommend.”

“Great, clean and large gym! Best gym option in town for the price! Really friendly staff.
Don't bother with anytime it isn't maintained at all. Ames Rec is nice but extremely expensive.”

“The best kickboxing class ever! Everyone there is extremely nice and supportive. We work (really) hard but we have fun doing it! Kickboxing has improved my strength, cardio, and flexibility. “I am new in this area year ago and I signed up for this fittness center. They let you put the membership on hold if you go away for more than a month. This is a plus for me since I live two different States . This is a very clean facility and big enough for me. There has pool and lots of classes. I tried few of their classes. To me, The best instructor is Michelle F. She teaches Yoga every Thursday at 9:30. She is a trainer as well as a yoga instructor. She is really good at what she is doing. Her yoga class always full of students because she always teach you something new. She never leave any silence and always keep guiding you through her knowledgeable skill by telling you what to do and why is that. I really enjoy her classes. The rest of the staffs are very polite and nice too. The membership department Amy and Berth are very friendly and helpful. Overall. I really happy that I found this place.”

“Not as upper crust as Ames Racquet and Fitness, but it does the job. Plenty of cardio machines and weights as well as a sweet open space upstairs. You're best served bringing your own water, but there is bottled water for 50 cents in case you forget. The water fountain is universally shunned due to taste. I figure whatever is going on with the water taste may be cost prohibitive to fix or is a city utility problem. TLDR Good. Not top shelf. But still good.”
“I started Surefire Fitness four months ago and love it. They know how to make exercise fun. All the coaches have been so helpful and encouraging. They meet you where your at. I can't believe how much stronger and better I feel.”
